Adele Jergens was an American actress. Her roles include the films The Corpse Came C.O.D., Down to Earth (1947), I Love Trouble (1948), The Prince of Thieves, The Woman from Tangier, Ladies of the Chorus, The Mutineers (1949), Treasure of Monte Cristo, The Sound of Fury, Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man, Somebody Loves Me, Blonde Dynamite, The Traveling Saleswoman, Overland Pacific, Outlaw Treasure, The Lonesome Trail, The Cobweb (1955), and Day the World Ended.

Adele was the daughter of Adele and August Jurgens. Her father was born in New York, to German parents. Her mother was a German immigrant. She was married to actor Glenn Langan, until his death, with whom she had a son, film technician Tracy Langan.

Adele is sometimes described as the daughter of Norwegian immigrants. This does not seem to be accurate.

Adele’s maternal grandfather was named Claus Bohmann.

Adele’s maternal grandmother was named Helena Feil.
