Aaron Jones is an American professional football player. A running back, he plays for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously with the Green Bay Packers.

Aaron is the son of Vurgess and Alvin Jones, Jr., who were career non-commissioned officers in the U.S. Army. His twin brother is professional football player Alvin Jones. He was partly raised in Germany, as well as Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and El Paso, near the Mexican border; because of his parents’ work. His cousin is professional basketball player Tristen Newton.
