Aaron Altherr is a German-American professional baseball player. An outfielder, he played for the Philadelphia Phillies, the San Francisco Giants, and the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB), and NC Dinos.

His father, Frank, is German. His mother, Michelle, is a Baltimore native who served in the Air Force. She is African-American. She was stationed in Germany when she met Frank, a former pro soccer player for FC Kaiserslautern. Aaron is married to Samantha Chavez, with whom he has a son.
