Probably every computer user had to deal, at some point, with ISO images when having to install software, burn a CD or DVD, or create a bootable Flash drive. Now, you can perform these actions easier, by using the software developed by Resin, called Etcher.

Etcher has a simple but stylish interface, with no customization options, and a straightforward setup process.

The program supports IMG, ISO, ZIP, BIN, DMG, GZ, RAW, RPI-SDIMG, SDCARD, WIC, and XZ file formats. The burning operation is automatic, all you need to do is select the image file from your computer and the drive where you want to copy the image.

With this tool, users are able to easily create a bootable image. The process is simple, and it requires only a few mouse clicks. Users have to choose the image file and the device that will encapsulate the bootable image file. Unfortunately, the program doesn't offer advanced configuration options.

Overall, Etcher is a straightforward burner tool, that offers a free and simple solution to a process considered difficult by novice computer users.
