omg, I had the best evar birthday. First there was the gorgeous print gifted to me by Jenn and Cate, and then while I was having coffee and scones with my best buds, my mbox filled with many awesome notes and V-gifts from my lovely fandom friends, and then my brother surprised me with a trek into U.C. Berkeley, during which I complained I hadn't had quite *enough* coffee and my feet hurt and I said, "There better be something cool, like a T-Rex, at the end of this hike."

And...THERE WAS. He took me to see the awesome T-Rex fossil at the Life Sciences building. I had NO IDEA it was there, I just picked the most outrageously cool thing I could think of (next to a Great White shark in captivity) and yet...THERE IT WAS!

Then I went to go see World War Z and ZOMBIES ZOMBIES ZOMBIES.

And then I get home to all these awesome messages and best ever: A gift story from siria: The Case of the Chimerical Chelonian, in which Clyde the Tortoise goes A.W.O.L. on a case!

Kinda wish it were my birthday every day, really. Can we arrange that?
