This is a Gutenberg blog plugin that allows you to easily display a comparison slider of two images. It is very easy to use and does not require any technical knowledge from the end users.

Label Position: Customize the label position to suit your needs.
Line Shape: Customize the line shape for a unique and eye-catching design.
Default Offset: Adjusts the initial position of the slider.
Move Slider On Click: Enable the option to move the slider when the user clicks on it.
Move Slider On Mouse Over: Enable the option to move the slider when the mouse hover over it.
Auto Slide: Activate automatic sliding on the compare images.
Auto Slide Speed: Set the speed of the auto moving slider.
Stop Slider On Mouse Over: Pause the sliding movement when the mouse is over the images.
Line Size: Adjust the line size to your preferred thickness.
Line Color: Choose a desired color for the line.
Handler Color: Choose a desired color for the handler.
Icon Color: Select the icon color from the options provided to match your design.

How to use beaf

First, install the Image Compare block plugin
Add the Image Compare block from the block category called «Widgets» in the Gutenberg editor.
You can change block settings from the right-side settings sidebar.

Instalación

From Gutenberg Editor:

Go to the WordPress Block/Gutenberg Editor
Search For Image Compare block.
Click on the Image Compare to add the block

Download & Upload:

Download the Image Compare block plugin (.zip file)
In your admin area, go to the Plugins menu and click on Add New
Click on Upload Plugin and choose the image-compare.zip file and click on Install Now
Activate the plugin and Enjoy!

Manually:

Download and upload the Image Compare block plugin to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress

Very decent plugin, but it does seem to have some issues with its design.On my website, using the slider left to right seems to have a tendancy to highlight the whole block in blue. I’m guessing the browser is trying to select the thing like it would with a block of text. On mobile, different issues. Zooming in on the Block and using the slider results in the whole pageview sliding left or right. I’m not a coder so I struggle to explain. But there does seem to be an issue where «selecting» the slider doesn’t lock the mouse in it. Which would explain the issues described above. Hopefully can be fixed in a future update. Cheers !

The small problem is that a blue overlay appears when scrolling too fast with the PC

I was impressed by the amount of settings. Design is also nice. On iPhone, while playing around with two of those blocks, the phone lagged incredibly bad until Safari didn’t respond at all for 20 seconds. Unacceptable. Switched to another plugin.(WP 6.4.1, iPhone 11, iOS 17.2.1, Safari)

integrates with gutenberg editor. one click to install, one click to add to my post, add my two images, BOOM done. wish it had a «auto» slider, or a visual way to show users that the line is draggable.
