DEFINICIÓN
▸ El control interno comprende un plan de
organización, métodos y procedimientos
que tiene establecido una empresa o
negocio.
▸ Es el proceso realizado por el consejo de
administración, los ejecutivos u otro
personal, diseñado para ofrecer una
seguridad razonable respecto a logro de
objetivos.

IMPORTANCIA
▸ El control interno en cualquier organización es de mucha
importancia, ya que permite el manejo adecuado de los bienes,
funciones e información de una empresa determinada, con el
fin de generar una indicación confiable de su situación y sus
operaciones en el mercado; también ayuda a que los recursos
disponibles sean utilizados en forma eficiente.

“
Aquellas empresas que desean lograr competitividad en sus
negocios van a implementar controles internos ya que así se
disminuye la ocurrencia de errores y fraude en la información
financiera. De esta manera se estaría cumpliendo leyes y
regulaciones que a su vez generaran un impacto positivo en el
negocio pudiendo inclusive atraer a inversionistas que apuesten al
crecimiento del mismo.

OBJETIVOS OPERACIONALES
▸ Incluyen objetivos relacionados con el rendimiento y la
rentabilidad, la evaluación de programas, el desarrollo de
proyectos, las operaciones y la protección del patrimonio.
▸ Se debe buscar que las actividades se desarrollen con el
menor esfuerzo y recursos, y con un máximo de utilidad
de acuerdo a lo dispuesto por la dirección.

▸ La información captada y producida por la contabilidad
será útil si su contenido es confiable y si es presentada
oportunamente a los usuarios.
