Depending on the number of enrolled students, it might be necessary to create two lab groups (A and B), with a
different schedule. In the chronogram and assessment just one group is shown.
Attending to theory and lab classes is mandatory. There will a a regular check every day so a missing rate aver
15% will be penalised.
Theoretical contents will be assessed in a progressive and continuos way, throughout the course, by means of on-
line quizzes in the Moodle platform. The weight for this part is 50%. Minimum grade required to pass is 5 points out
of 10.
Practical contents will be assessed in a progressive and continuous way, throughout the course, by means of
workshops and lab activities. Students must write a report for every one. The weight for this part is 50%: 20% for
workshops, and 30% for lab activities. Minimum grade required to pass is 5 points out of 10. Practical contents are
considered as "not-recovered activities", that is, they cannot be evaluated as a final global final exam.
In case of students who don't follow the progressive and continuous evaluation, they have the option to receive a
global final exam about the theoretical contents, whenever they previously did and successfully passed the
practical activities. The final grade will be obtained as the weighted average of the global final exam (50%) and the
practical activities (50%).
Students who pass neither the progressive evaluation nor the global final exam, might receive an extraordinary
exam, including both theoretical and practical contents. This will be given the day referred in the official calendar of
extraordinary exams. The extraordinary exam will consist of a first qualifying theoretical part which is mandatory to
be passed in order to take, next, the practical part. If so, this last one will consist of three activities to be carried out
on-site. Both parts must be passed independently and the final grade will be obtained as a simple arithmetic mean.
