Step 1: Self-Assessment
Hello, i’m Maria Salazar an university student. I considerer myself as a great reader of
english, read is one of the thing that i love the most, even in another idiom, is the same case
whith the listening; but when i have to write or speak, my mind doesn't move as fast as
when I read or procces all quickly as when a hear. If I want to wrire a text like this, is a
little slow for my taste, and is a trouble for me. I conclude that I can’t reproduce as the
same that I see or hear.
Whith the gramma and vocabulary, my level from 1 to 10, is a 7, i have to much to get
better but i’m not that bad.
Step 2: Set Clear Goals
Specific
I find it difficult to write in English, so before starting the fourth semester of my
degree I must write decently and fluently by then.
Measurable
I am to produce two short stories in English every week.
Achievable
I Will learn five new words in english and use it for the stories every week.
Relevant
I want to work, so I need a B2 level of English.
Time
I am to achieve a perfomance above four in the final course in the middle of the
year.

Y por último la aplicación de Duolingo, es increíble para la gramática y ampliar
vocabulario.
Step 4: Create a Study Schedule
1. A las 9:00 a.m. se debe escuchar un podcast y entender cada frase, en caso de
incertidumbre en algún momento, se deberá escribir la palabra u oración y
comprender su significado (esta parte cubre el listening. No puedo decir cuánto
tiempo exactamente me tomaría ya que los podcasts duran de entre treinta y
cincuenta minutos).
2. Después de eso, lo siguiente será leer artículos en ingles y realizar el mismo
procedimiento con las palabras desconocidas, estas estarán en una lista y serán
repasadas e implementadas en el cuento corto de cada fin de semana (cubre el
Reading).
3. Aproximadamente a las 10:30 a.m. con todas las palabras o frases nuevas escritas se
hará un pequeño escrito a mano incluyéndolas, intentando que haya coherencia y
cohesión entre todas, igualmente leyendo en oz alta con la finalidad de mejorar la
pronunciación (abarca el writing y speaking).
4. Justo después se dedicarán cinco minutos a una retroalimentación mental sobre lo
que se ha aprendido en el día, para después hacer la lección diaria en la app
Duolingo.
Whith all this, i have a daily routine and goals to meet. There so much things i have to
change, for that, there are tools and more. Definitely this Will make the my learning more
easer.
