2. PRESENTACIÓN DE LA ACTIVIDAD

THE IMPERATIVES WITH THE USE OF PRESENT SIMPLE
Un imperativo es utilizado para dar órdenes, instrucciones o advertencias. En las oraciones afirmativas, se
utiliza la forma infinitiva del verbo sin el “to” y esta puede ir acompañada de un complemento. Es importante
destacar que no está presente el sujeto.

AFIRMATIVO = INFINITIVO + COMPLEMENTO

Llama a la policía

Ven al salón.
En las oraciones negativas, utilizamos la
forma don't (o el auxiliar do + not) seguido del verbo en infinitivo.
Ejemplos en oraciones:
NEGATIVO = DO NOT / DON’T + COMPLEMENTO

No des de comer a los animales
Don’t open de door
No abras la puerta
Let's
Existe una forma muy común que sirve para incluirse a uno mismo en la oración. Es el caso de let's (la forma
contraída de let us). Generalmente se utiliza en invitaciones o sugerencias cuando queremos o no que alguien
haga algo con nosotros, pero no se puede considerar como una orden.
Examples:
AFIRMATIVO = LET’S + INFINITIVO+ COMPLEMENTO
Let’s go out tonight
Salgamos esta noche
Let’s watch a film
Vamos a ver una película
NEGATIVO = LET’S + NOT+INFINITIVO+ COMPLEMENTO
Let’s not talk about it
No hablemos de eso
Let’s not smoke here
No fumemos aquí

En este punto el estudiante debe recortar cada una de las imágenes y pegarlas en el cuaderno escribiendo
la traducción de la oracion, como aparece en el siguiente ejemplo. (Los estudiante que no tengan la copia en
fisico, puede hacer un dibujo sencillo de acuerdo a cada instrucción en el salón de clase)
