FIRST RESPONDENT: (In a calm voice) Ma'am, are you okay? Don't move, help
is on the way.
VICTIM: (Crying) My leg hurts so much, I can't move.
FIRST RESPONDENT: (Examining the wound) Calm down, I'm going to
immobilize your leg to keep it from moving. Pablo, the paramedic, will be here
soon.
(FIRST RESPONDENT improvises immobilization with whatever is at hand, as
paramedic runs up.)
PARAMEDIC: (Evaluating victim) What do we have here? Fractured tibia, possible
concussion. We need to immobilize her and get her to the hospital.
(PARAMEDIC begins applying medical protocols, as Laura, the nurse, arrives to
assist.)
NURSE: (Assisting paramedic) I'll take care of the IV and monitoring blood
pressure.
PARAMEDIC: Perfect. Carlos, can you keep her informed and calm? It's important
for her to know what we're doing.
FIRST RESPONDENT: (TO VICTIM) Ma'am, we're going to transfer her to the
hospital. Nurse Laura is giving her a pain reliever. She'll be fine.
(Between the three of them, they stabilize VICTIM and prepare her for transfer.
The scene ends with the sound of an ambulance approaching.)
PARAMEDIC: (TO FIRST RESPONDENT) Good work, Carlos. Your quick
response was crucial.
FIRST RESPONDENT: I just did what any person would do.
NURSE: In situations like this, every second counts. Thank you for your help.
(The ambulance is heard arriving, and the three prepare to transport the VICTIM.)

mueva, la ayuda está en camino.
VICTIMA: (Llorando) Me duele mucho la pierna, no puedo moverme.
PRIMER RESPONDIENTE: (Examinando la herida) Tranquila, voy a inmovilizar su
pierna para evitar que se mueva. Pablo, el paramédico, llegará pronto.
(PRIMER RESPONDIENTE improvisa una inmovilización con lo que tiene a
mano, mientras Pablo llega corriendo.)
PARAMEDICO: (Evaluando a Sofía) ¿Qué tenemos aquí? Fractura de tibia,
posible conmoción. Necesitamos inmovilizarla y trasladarla al hospital.
(PARAMEDICO comienza a aplicar los protocolos médicos, mientras Laura,
la enfermera, llega para ayudar.)
ENFERMERA: (Ayudando a Pablo) Yo me encargo de la vía intravenosa y de
controlar la presión arterial.
PARAMEDICO: Perfecto. Carlos, ¿puedes mantenerla informada y tranquila? Es
importante que sepa lo que estamos haciendo.
PRIMER RESPONDIENTE: (A VICTIMA) Señora, la vamos a trasladar al hospital.
La enfermera Laura le está poniendo un suero para el dolor. Estará bien.
(Entre los tres, estabilizan a VICTIMA y la preparan para el traslado. La
escena termina con el sonido de una ambulancia acercándose.)
PARAMEDICO: (A PRIMER RESPONDIENTE) Buen trabajo, Carlos. Tu rápida
respuesta fue crucial.
PRIMER RESPONDIENTE: Solo hice lo que cualquier persona haría.
ENFERMERA: En situaciones así, cada segunda cuenta. Gracias por tu ayuda.
(Se escucha la ambulancia llegar, y los tres se preparan para el traslado de
VICTIMA.)
