DENGUE

INTERPRETACIÓN DE LA PRUEBA RÁPIDA DE


DENGUE: NS1, IGG E IGM

Prueba:
NS1: DETECTA EL ANTÍGENO NS1 DEL VIRUS DEL DENGUE.
ES POSITIVO DURANTE LA FASE AGUDA DE LA
ENFERMEDAD (PRIMEROS 5-7 DÍAS).
IGM: DETECTA ANTICUERPOS IGM CONTRA EL VIRUS DEL
DENGUE. ES POSITIVO A PARTIR DEL DÍA 6 DE LA
ENFERMEDAD Y PERMANECE POSITIVO HASTA 2-3 MESES
DESPUÉS DE LA INFECCIÓN.
IGG: DETECTA ANTICUERPOS IGG CONTRA EL VIRUS DEL
DENGUE. ES POSITIVO A PARTIR DE LOS 14 DÍAS DE LA
ENFERMEDAD Y PUEDE PERSISTIR DURANTE AÑOS,
INDICANDO UNA INFECCIÓN PREVIA POR DENGUE.
DENGUE
INTERPRETACIÓN INDIVIDUAL:

NS1:
POSITIVO: INDICA UNA INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE EN
CURSO.
NEGATIVO: NO DESCARTA UNA INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE.
PUEDE SER NEGATIVO AL INICIO DE LA ENFERMEDAD O SI
LA INFECCIÓN HA PASADO LA FASE AGUDA.

IgM:
POSITIVO: INDICA UNA INFECCIÓN RECIENTE POR DENGUE
(EN LOS ÚLTIMOS 2-3 MESES).
NEGATIVO: NO DESCARTA UNA INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE.
PUEDE SER NEGATIVO AL INICIO DE LA ENFERMEDAD O SI
LA INFECCIÓN ES ANTIGUA.

IgG:
POSITIVO: INDICA UNA INFECCIÓN PREVIA POR DENGUE.
NO INDICA UNA INFECCIÓN ACTUAL.
NEGATIVO: PUEDE INDICAR QUE LA PERSONA NUNCA HA
ESTADO INFECTADA POR EL VIRUS DEL DENGUE O QUE LA
INFECCIÓN FUE HACE MUCHO TIEMPO.
DENGUE
INTERPRETACIÓN CONJUNTA:
NS1, IgM, IgG positivo:
INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE EN CURSO.

NS1 positivo, IgM negativo, IgG positivo


O NS1 negativo, IgM y IgG positivo:
INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE RECIENTE (EN LOS
ÚLTIMOS 2-3 MESES).

NS1 y IgM negativo, IgG positivo:


INFECCIÓN PREVIA POR DENGUE.

NS1 positivo, IgM y IgG negativo:


INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE PROBABLE, PERO SE
NECESITAN MÁS PRUEBAS PARA CONFIRMAR

NS1 negativo, IgM positivo, IgG negativo:


INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE RECIENTE POSIBLE, PERO
SE NECESITAN MÁS PRUEBAS PARA CONFIRMAR

NS1, IgM, IgG negativo:


NO HAY EVIDENCIA DE INFECCIÓN POR DENGUE.
