1.3 Especificaciones
La OLYMPUS EP50 es una cámara en color CMOS con alta velocidad de foto-
gramas. Ha sido especialmente desarrollada para adquirir imágenes mediante
microscopía óptica. La cámara tiene un diseño compacto y se puede conectar a
todos los microscopios ópticos de uso habitual mediante un montaje tipo C.
Cuando se utiliza en modo WLAN, la cámara es especialmente adecuada para
entornos de formación (aula digital), dado que permite a varios alumnos acceder
simultáneamente a la misma cámara OLYMPUS EP50.

la OLYMPUS EP50 a los microscopios habituales de Olympus.
Tenga en cuenta que se pueden utilizar otros microscopios que no están incluidos
en esta lista.

3.4 Software
Para poder adquirir imágenes con la cámara se necesita un software adecuado. Las
posibilidades son las siguientes:
1) Utilizar la cámara con el software OSD preinstalado OLYMPUS EP50.
2) Utilizar la cámara con el software gratuito EPview de OLYMPUS, instalado en
un equipo con Windows.
3) Utilizar la cámara en modo WLAN con la app gratuita EPview de OLYMPUS
instalada en un dispositivo móvil.

Para utilizar la cámara en modo WLAN se requiere un adaptador USB para WLAN
que no se incluye en el volumen de suministro.
El adaptador para WLAN debe ser compatible al menos con el estándar IEEE
802.11n. Además, se debe utilizar un chip de la empresa
Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Se recomienda utilizar los siguientes adaptadores USB para WLAN (enero de
2019):

COMFAST CF-WU810N
TP-Link TL-WN725N (V3)
Nota Si ninguno de estos adaptadores USB para WLAN está disponible en su país,
póngase en contacto con el distribuidor de OLYMPUS.
Adaptador USB para WLAN adicional necesario si el ordenador no tiene
adaptador WLAN integrado
Si desea utilizar la cámara con el software EPview y el ordenador no tiene un
adaptador WLAN integrado (por ejemplo, porque se utilizan normalmente en red
LAN), se requiere un segundo adaptador USB para WLAN.
Este segundo adaptador puede ser igual al que se conecta al puerto USB de la
cámara. Debe insertarse en un puerto USB del ordenador para que se active la
detección WLAN en este ordenador.

Los clientes pueden ser dispositivos móviles con la app EPview o también equipos
con Windows y con el software EPview instalado.
Para seleccionar la red WLAN de una cámara OLYMPUS EP50, el usuario debe
pulsar en primer lugar el símbolo de redes inalámbricas de su dispositivo. En la lista
de redes detectadas del cliente aparecerán las redes WLAN de todas las cámaras
OLYMPUS EP50 activas.
A continuación, el usuario debe seleccionar la red WLAN de la cámara deseada e
introducir la contraseña. El nombre y la contraseña predeterminados de la red
WLAN pueden consultarse en el adhesivo de la cámara con el código QR.

Para ello, los clientes se conectan a la red WLAN proporcionada por la cámara.
Todos los clientes pueden ver la imagen en vivo, cambiar ajustes de la cámara y
adquirir imágenes.
Conexión de varios clientes a la misma cámara OLYMPUS EP50 o a cámaras
distintas (en modo LAN)
Los clientes pueden ver las imágenes en vivo de todas las cámara OLYMPUS EP50
que se encuentran en la misma red que su equipo. Estas imágenes en vivo se
muestran como miniaturas en el software o la app EPview.

Los clientes se pueden conectar a cualquier cámara para ver la imagen en vivo,

También es posible utilizar cámaras OLYMPUS EP50 que no se encuentran en la
misma red que el equipo con Windows o el dispositivo móvil en el que está instalado
el software o la app EPview. Para ello es necesario introducir manualmente la
dirección IP.

5 Conservación y mantenimiento
Con una utilización correcta, la cámara tiene una larga vida útil y apenas requiere
mantenimiento. Para que esté garantizada una funcionalidad completa deben
seguirse las instrucciones de conservación.
Limpiar la carcasa
Todos los componentes que no son de cristal deben limpiarse con un paño limpio.
No deben utilizarse disolventes orgánicos para limpiar una suciedad excesiva.
Utilice para ello un paño suave humedecido con un producto de limpieza neutro.

Es posible restablecer los valores de fábrica de todos los ajustes de la cámara. Esta
acción puede realizarse desde el software OSD.
Para ver el software OSD en el monitor, la cámara debe conectarse a este mediante
el cable HDMI suministrado. Además, el ratón suministrado debe estar conectado
al puerto USB de la cámara.
Para ello acceda al cuadro de diálogo Ajustes > Varios en el software de visualiza-
ción en pantalla (software OSD) y haga clic en el botón Restablecer a los valores
predeterminados de fábrica. Aparecerá una ventana de registro. Si responde afir-
mativamente a la consulta de seguridad, el software OSD se reiniciará y todos los
ajustes recuperarán sus valores predeterminados.

electromagnéticas en caso de utilización en áreas residenciales. Este dispositivo
genera y utiliza energía de alta frecuencia y también es capaz de emitirla. En caso de
instalación y utilización inadecuada, es posible que se produzcan interferencias en las
comunicaciones por radio.
No obstante, no se proporciona ninguna garantía de que no se produzcan
interferencias en una instalación determinada.
Si este dispositivo afecta a la recepción de señales de radio y televisión, lo cual se
puede comprobar encendiendo y apagando el dispositivo, es posible eliminar las
interferencias aplicando una o más de las siguientes medidas:
1) Cambiar de sitio la antena de recepción o cambiar su orientación
