Resumen ejecutivo
La cultura de Rayón, Chiapas prevalece por sus idiomas y tradiciones como la
lengua zoque, hablada por la comunidad local, es una parte integral de su identidad
cultural. Las tradiciones ancestrales, como ceremonias, la creatividad zoque que se
manifiesta en diversas formas de arte desde intrincadas esculturas hasta coloridos
textiles bordados a mano, estas expresiones artísticas reflejan la conexión profunda
de la comunidad con la naturaleza y su patrimonio cultural.
La ubicación del centro cultural KAWEL, está en la 3ra Norte Poniente Barrio San
Antonio Rayón del Estado de Chiapas, se optó por el proyecto para brindar un lugar
en donde los habitantes del municipio tengan un espacio para fomentar su cultura,
tales como lo son la danza, el arte, la pintura, la lectura, entre otros.
Para el diseño del centro cultural KAWEL se llevó a cabo un análisis de los factores
que afectan principalmente la zona, tales como el clima, otros factores como la red
de agua potable, red de alcantarillado y red energía eléctrica. Además, el proyecto
se diseñó de manera que cuente con los recursos necesarios para tener un buen
funcionamiento y una buena distribución de cada uno de los espacios para los
diferentes talleres y eventos que se lleven a cabo asegurando la comodidad de los
usuarios que la ocupen.
El proyecto, da a conocer las actividades a realizar y el tiempo en el que se llevará
a cabo la construcción de la obra. El presupuesto que se utilizará en la construcción
será aportado por el H. Ayuntamiento municipal en turno, el presupuesto que se
utilizará en la construcción del proyecto del Centro Cultural “KAWEL” (“KAWEL
significa café en idioma zoque”) será de $5,534,290.42 (cinco millones quinientos
treinta y cuatro mil doscientos noventa con cuarenta y dos centavos 42/100).

Abstract.
The culture of Rayon, Chiapas, is characterized by its languages and traditions such
as the Zoque language, spoken by the local community, which is an integral part of
its cultural identity. Ancestral traditions, such as ceremonies, Zoque creativity that
manifests itself in various art forms from intricate sculptures to colorful hand-
embroidered textiles, these artistic expressions reflect the community's deep
connection to nature and its cultural heritage.
The location of the KAWEL cultural center is located in the third North West of
neighborhood San Antonio Rayon, State of Chiapas. The project was chosen to
provide a place where the inhabitants of the municipality have a space to promote
their culture, such as dance, art, painting, reading, among others.
For the design of the KAWEL cultural center, an analysis of the factors that mainly
affect the area was carried out, such as the weather, other factors such as the
drinking water network, sewerage network and electricity network. Additionally, the
project was designed in a way that it has the necessary resources for proper
functioning and a good distribution of each of the spaces for the different workshops
and events that take place, ensuring the comfort of the users.
The project outlines the activities to be carried out and the timeframe for the
construction work. The budget to be used in the construction will be provided by the
H. Municipal in turn, the budget to be used in the construction of the "KAWEL"
Cultural Center project (KAWEL means "coffee" in the zoque language) will be
$5,534,290.42 (five million five hundred thirty-four thousand two hundred ninety and
forty-two cents).
