Narrador: (con entusiasmo) ¡Queridas familias, bienvenidas al día de
los muertos!
El público aplaude.
Narrador: En esta historia, conoceremos a Miguel, un niño valiente que
se embarca en un viaje al mundo espiritual para descubrir la importancia
de la familia, la música y la memoria. ¡Pero no lo hará solo, contará con
la ayuda de muchos amigos en el camino!
Escena 1
Miguel camina por el escenario. Busca a alguien y está asustado

Miguel: (con determinación) ¡Hola! Soy Miguel, y estoy listo para

Grandma Elena: Miguel, ven para acá.
Miguel: Lo siento.

Escena 2
Narrador: Miguel y su perro entran al mausoleo. Miguel toma la guitarra
y la toca, siendo transportado al mundo de los muertos.

Escena 3
Narrador: Miguel no sabe en donde está, pero poco a poco irá
conociendo a cada una de las personas que viven en el mundo de los
muertos.
Mientras suena la música suben los demás personajes al escenario
Narrador: (señalando a cada personaje) Conozcan a Miguel, Héctor,
Ernesto de la Cruz, Mamá Imelda, Pepita, Dante, Abuelita Elena, Tía
Rosita, Tío Berto y Mama Coco. Mientras los van mencionando cada
personaje saluda al público.

Héctor: "La familia no siempre es perfecta, pero siempre está unida en

Pepito: Encontramos el amor que nos une como familia."
Tía Rosita: La verdadera riqueza no se encuentra en lo que tenemos…
Abuelita Elena: ¡Recuerden siempre el amor de la familia!
Luego de presentarse Miguel ve a sus familiares y los abraza.
Escena 4

Narrador: Miguel necesita la bendición de su tatarabuelo Ernesto de la
cruz para poder volver a casa y ser musico y lo busca
desesperadamente, cuando lo encuentra, esta listo, pero llega Héctor
quien es su verdadero abuelo.
Miguel: Hola abuelo.
Ernesto: Ven aquí, hablemos.
Héctor: Ernesto dile la verdad.
Escena 5:
Mamá Imelda, pepita y pepito interrumpen y llaman a miguel para que
Ernesto no les haga daño, pepito y pepita entran volando detrás.
Mamá Imelda: Miguel, ven aquí.
Miguel: si, estoy listo.
Pepito: ¡vamos todos!
Música de fondo: Recuérdame.
Mama Coco: (sonriendo con ternura) ¡Recuérdame!
Escena 6: EL REENCUENTRO
Toda la familia se reúne para celebrar la unión, el amor y los lazos
familiares. Así comprendieron el poder que tiene la familia, de lo
maravilloso que es sentirse identificado y vinculado hacia los nuestros.
Se dieron un gran abrazo, pero también celebraron con música y baile.
Abuelita Elena: Disfrutemos la música
Tío Berto: La familia siempre estará unida
Aunt Rosita: Somos el mejor equipo
Mother Imelda: Estamos todos juntos.
Tío Berto: Vamos a celebrar.
Héctor: Gracias Miguel, nunca te olvidaré.
Mamá Coco: Los invito a darse un abrazo.

NARRATOR: Dear families! Welcome to the dead´s day!

NARRATOR: In this story, we will meet Miguel, a brave boy who embarks on a
journey to the spiritual world. He will discover the importance of family, music and
memory. But he won´t do it alone, Miguel will have the help of many friends along
the way.
SCENE 1

Miguel walks across the stage. Look for someone and is scared.
MIGUEL: Hello, I am Miguel and I am ready to find my way back home.
GRANDMA ELENA: Miguel, come here.
MIGUEL: I am sorry.
Miguel leaves.
SCENE 2
NARRATOR: Miguel and his dog enter to the mausoleum. He takes the guitar and
plays it, being transported to the world of the dead. Música de guitarra. Todos los
niños entran detrás para baile con su guitarra.

NARRATOR: Miguel doesn't know where he is, but he will meet each one who live
in the world of the dead.

NARRATOR: Say hello to Hector…
HECTOR: “The family not always is perfect, but is always united in the heart.
ERNESTO DE LA CRUZ: (In a melodious voice) “Family ties are the most beautiful
melody we can share”
PEPITA: “In every hug and smile,
PEPITO: we find the love that united us as a family”
AUNT ROSITA: The true wealth is not found in what we have.
GRANDMA ELENA: “Remember always the love of the family”
UNCLE BERTO: The family will always be together.
MOTHER IMELDA: In the memories of our loved ones, we find the strength to
move forward.
Miguel sees his family and hugs them.

NARRATOR: Miguel needs the blessing of his great-great-grandfather Ernesto de la
Cruz to be able to return home and be a musician and he desperately searches for
him. When he finds him, he is ready, but Héctor arrives, who is his real grandfather.
MIGUEL: Hello Granpa.
ERNESTO: Come here, let´s talk.
HECTOR: Ernesto, tell him the truth.
NARRATOR: Mama Imelda, Pepita and Pepito interrupt and call Miguel so that
Ernesto doesn't hurt them.

NARRATOR: The whole family comes together to celebrate love and family ties.
This is how they understood the power that family has, how wonderful it is to feel
identified and linked to our loved ones. They gave each other a big hug, but they
also celebrated with music and dancing.
GRANDMA ELENA: Enjoy the music.
AUNT ROSITA: We are the best team.
UNCLE BERTO: Let´s celebrate.
HECTOR: Thank you Miguel, I will never forget you.
MAMA COCO: I invite you to give each other a hug.
