INTRODUCTION
Buen día mí estimado (a) estudiante, del Colfidh. En esta segunda guía aprenderás a escribir y
pronunciar expresiones usando el presente progresivo o continuo en las formas afirmativa,
interrogativa y negativa. Para el desarrollo y comprensión del tema debes estudiar y practicar las
estructuras para formar estas oraciones en el presente progresivo. Puedes practicar con tu familia.
PERSENT PROGESSIVE (Presente progresivo)
El tiempo presente progresivo o continuo, es una acción que puede ocurrir en el
momento que se expresa. Para formar oraciones en presente progfresivo, usamos el
presente del verbo To Be (am, is y are) y la termiación ING (ando, endo, iendo) al verbo
principal, es decir, al verbo PLAY= Jugar, le agrego ING, PLAYING= Jugando, entonces
para escribir “yo estoy jugando” en inglés quedaria:
I AM PLAYING. Como pueden apreciar, usamos el verbo To-be, en este caso “AM” y al
verbo principal, en este caso: PLAY, le agregamos “ING”
La estructura del presente progresivo es una combinación de dos verbos, uno es el
verbo "to be" y el otro es el verbo que indica la acción, este terminando con "ing".
Subject + Verb To Be + Verb (ing)
SHE + IS + WRITING ….Ella está escribiendo
THEY + ARE + WORKING…..Ellos están trabajando
I + AM + TRAVELING…. Yo estoy viajando
La forma afirmativa de este tiempo gramatical es:
