After watching the video of your preference, answer the following questions according to
what you saw on the video and your personal information.
1. Which is the tourist destination described in the video? Where is it located?
The tourist described Santa Marta, it’s located in Magdalena department.
2. Have you ever been there? If you have, describe your experience. If you
haven’t, would you like to visit it someday?
I have been there many times, my favorite place to visit is Santa Marta, by the way.
I always enjoy when I go to this place. I have been in different famous restaurants as
Los Paisas, and I went to the Rodadero and Playa Blanca beaches. It was amazing,
they have been unforgettable experiences for me. In addition, Santa Marta is really
cheap, you can travel with not too much money and enjoy this city and all their touristic
places. I recommend it 100%.
3. What are three of the most enjoyable things to do in that place?
Go to Playa Blanca, it’s a destination you must go, beach is clean and really beautiful.
Go to Taganga, it has an amazing view from up. It’s cheap to get there and take good
photos, therefore, buy souvenirs is something people have to do.
Finally, Rodadero beach is the best place for me, because there are hotels, restaurants,
discos and more attractions, in addition, the sunset is beautiful to watch it.
4. According to what you saw on the video, what is something you didn't like
about the place?
I could see some trashes on the video, it means we don’t have culture and we don’t care
our own land, we must change our mind to conserve it and keep enjoying.

1. What places have you missed to visit during your trip? I went to Santa Marta on
my last trip, I missed Minca, I love that place but in this time I couldn’t be there.
2. What was the most expensive place you visited in your city?
I visited Decameron hotel, it is the most expensive hotel I have paid ever.
3. Have you ever worked with tourism? How was it?
No, I haven’t.
4. What is better? Visiting popular tourist destinations or lesser-known tourist
destinations? Why? Give at least two reasons.
I think visiting lesser-known tourist destinations is better for these two reasons:
It’s cheaper go to these places, because no many people go, so there are different
options to do it.
The other one, there’s no crowded in there, people can walk or do something with no
difficult, and is easier to enjoy the tourists places.
5. What was the most incredible activity you did on your trip? What did you do?
I enjoyed a lot to ride up on the Gusanito in el Rodadero, it was amazing and I liked a
lot.
