Señores Padres:

Nos dirigimos Uds. a fin de comunicarles que la asignatura Lengua Extranjera


INGLES responde al proyecto “División por Niveles” a partir de 2º año. Los estudiantes
también asisten desde 1º año a un taller (módulo semanal de 40 minutos) denominado
“Proyecto de Inglés” que tiene como enfoque principal la práctica de la pronunciación mediante
lectura de textos y diálogos, dramatización de diálogos, deletreo de palabras, lectura de
distintos tipos de números, memorización de textos cortos, repetición de sonidos, etc.

❖ División por niveles


Atendiendo a las capacidades y necesidades diferenciadas de los estudiantes, se realiza
una división por niveles de cada curso (2° a 6° año) nivelando a los estudiantes de ambas
divisiones (A y B) en dos grupos: nivel 1 (elemental) y nivel 2 (intermedio).
La nivelación se realiza a partir de 2º año en base a un proceso de diagnóstico que
abarca el acompañamiento y observación de los estudiantes durante el cursado de primer año.

❖ Criterios para la futura división por niveles observados en 1º año


Los criterios tenidos en cuenta para definir los niveles son los siguientes:
• la trayectoria y competencias adquiridas durante la educación primaria,
especialmente de aquellos estudiantes que hayan cursado en nuestro colegio ya que
contamos con las apreciaciones y observaciones de las docentes de primaria
• el desempeño en las evaluaciones sumativas y periódicas
• la evaluación formativa y constante que se centra en observar el grado de
desarrollo de las destrezas comunicativas y las actitudes hacia el aprendizaje. El
foco principal de atención consiste en evaluar los procesos, la predisposición y
participación activa en clase y en el desarrollo y concreción de trabajos y
proyectos. Además, se tiene en cuenta la responsabilidad en el cumplimiento de las
tareas y el material requerido para el trabajo en clase y el compromiso con la
asistencia a clases y a instancias de evaluación anunciadas con antelación.

❖ Sistema de calificaciones
Las notas individuales obtenidas en cada etapa aparecen directamente en la libreta. El
trabajo en taller se refleja con una nota en cada etapa que aparece en la libreta y se promedia
con las demás notas para obtener el promedio de la etapa. La única nota de taller se obtiene del
promedio de las notas parciales acumuladas durante cada etapa.

❖ Materiales y tareas
Los estudiantes necesitarán contar con los siguientes materiales de trabajo, los cuales
son indispensables para el correcto desarrollo del proceso de aprendizaje: carpeta, cuadernillo
de actividades (impreso o fotocopiado en color o negro y anillado), fotocopias, diccionario
bilingüe (es necesario contar con alguno para consultar en casa) y acceso a la plataforma
Classroom para enviar y recibir archivos y comunicados. Cada vez que el estudiante no pueda
cumplir con el material o tareas asignadas por motivos particulares, será necesario informar
mediante una nota dirigida a la profesora en el cuaderno de comunicaciones.
Los estudiantes necesitarán mantener su carpeta, fotocopias y libro de actividades
completos y al día. Los mismos serán controlados periódicamente.
Los cuadernillos cuentan con una serie de planillas que permite a los padres y
estudiantes mantenerse al tanto del seguimiento áulico, notas, tareas y fechas y temas de
evaluaciones.

❖ Inasistencias
Si por algún motivo el estudiante estuviera ausente durante alguna clase de la
asignatura, el mismo deberá completar las actividades desarrolladas durante su ausencia y luego
informar al docente si le surgieron dudas al respecto. Si alguna evaluación fue anunciada durante
su ausencia, es responsabilidad del estudiante informarse a cerca de la fecha y temas (datos que sus
compañeros tendrán registrados en el cuadernillo).

❖ Atención a padres
En caso de que requieran que una profesora los reciba personalmente es necesario
solicitar una cita por escrito en el cuaderno de comunicaciones a fin de que sean respetados los
horarios de atención establecidos por cada docente.
