Epidemiología
El 90% de las muertes relacionadas con el trauma prehospitalario implican lesión
cerebral ,Afectando a más de 10.000.000 de personas anualmente.
Aproximadamente el 75% de los pacientes con lesiones cerebrales que reciben
atención médica puede ser categorizado como teniendo lesiones leves, 15% como
moderado, y el 10% como grave.
Principal causa de muerte personas entre 15 y 29 años .
