TIEMPOS VERBALES
Present Simple (Presente Simple):
Estructura:
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Verbo en presente + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Do/Does + Not + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Do/Does + Sujeto + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
- *Afirmativa:"I work in an office." (Yo trabajo en una oficina.)
- *Negativa: "I do not (don't) work on weekends." (Yo no trabajo los fines de semana.)
- *Interrogativa: "Do you work in the morning?" (¿Trabajas en la mañana?)
Present Continuous (Presente Continuo):
Estructura:
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Am/Is/Are + Verbo en gerundio(ING) + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Am/Is/Are + Not + Verbo en gerundio(ING) + Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Am/Is/Are + Sujeto + Verbo en gerundio(ING) + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
- Afirmativa: "She is reading a book." (Ella está leyendo un libro.)
- Negativa: "They are not (aren't) watching TV." (Ellos no están viendo televisión.)
- Interrogativa: "Is he playing soccer?" (¿Está él jugando al fútbol?)
Past Simple (Pasado Simple):
Estructura:
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Verbo en pasado (SEGUNDA COLUMNA O -ED) + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Did + Not + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Did + Sujeto + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
- Afirmativa: "They visited the museum last week." (Ellos visitaron el museo la semana
pasada.)
- Negativa: "She did not (didn't) go to the party." (Ella no fue a la fiesta.)
- Interrogativa: "Did you see that movie?" (¿Viste esa película?)
Future Simple (Futuro Simple):
- Estructura:
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Will + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Will + Not + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Will + Sujeto + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
- Afirmativa: "I will travel to Paris next month." (Viajaré a París el próximo mes.)
- Negativa: "She will not (won't) come to the party." (Ella no vendrá a la fiesta.)
- Interrogativa:"Will they arrive on time?" (¿Llegarán a tiempo?)
Future Continuous (Futuro Continuo):
Estructura:
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Will + Be + Verbo en gerundio (ING) + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Will + Not + Be + Verbo en gerundio (ING)+ Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Will + Sujeto + Be + Verbo en gerundio(ING) + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
-Afirmativa: "This time tomorrow, I will be working." (A esta hora mañana, estaré
trabajando.)
- Negativa: "She will not (won't) be studying at that time." (Ella no estará estudiando en ese
momento.)
- Interrogativa: "Will they be waiting for us?" (¿Nos estarán esperando?)
Conditional Simple (Condicional Simple):
Estructura
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Would + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Would + Not + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Would + Sujeto + Verbo en infinitivo + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
- Afirmativa: "I would travel around the world if I had the money." (Viajaría alrededor del
mundo si tuviera el dinero.)
- Negativa: "She would not (wouldn't) buy the car if it was too expensive." (Ella no
compraría el coche si fuera demasiado caro.)
- Interrogativa: "Would you help me with this task?" (¿Me ayudarías con esta tarea?)
Conditional Perfect (Condicional Perfecto):
Estructura
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Would + Have + Participio pasado + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Would + Not + Have + Participio pasado + Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Would + Sujeto + Have + Participio pasado + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
- Afirmativa: "He would have finished the project if he had more time." (Él habría terminado
el proyecto si hubiera tenido más tiempo.)
- Negativa: "I would not (wouldn't) have forgotten your birthday if I had known." (No habría
olvidado tu cumpleaños si lo hubiera sabido.)
- Interrogativa: "Would she have accepted the job offer if it paid better?" (¿Habría aceptado
la oferta de trabajo si pagara mejor?)
Conditional Continuous (Condicional Continuo):
Estructura
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + Would + Be + Verbo en gerundio + Complemento.
- Negativa: Sujeto + Would + Not + Be + Verbo en gerundio + Complemento.

ayudarnos con el evento?)
Conditional Perfect Continuous (Condicional Perfecto Continuo):

- *Afirmativa:* Sujeto + Would + Have + Been + Verbo en gerundio + Complemento.
- *Negativa:* Sujeto + Would + Not + Have + Been + Verbo en gerundio +
Complemento.
- *Interrogativa:* Would + Sujeto + Have + Been + Verbo en gerundio + Complemento?
- Ejemplos:
- Afirmativa: "They would have been waiting for us for hours if the train had not been
delayed." (Habrían estado esperándonos durante horas si el tren no se hubiera retrasado.)
- Negativa: "She would not (wouldn't) have been studying if the library were closed." (No
habría estado estudiando si la biblioteca estuviera cerrada.)
- Interrogativa: "Would they have been enjoying the concert if the sound system had
worked properly?" (¿Habrían estado disfrutando del concierto si el sistema de sonido
hubiera funcionado correctamente?)
