Descubre la lista de Phrasal Verbs B1 esenciales para aprobar el examen B1. Con

H2: ¿Qué son los phrasal verbs?
Podría decirse que los phrasal verbs es uno de los elementos que más pesadillas traen a
los estudiantes de inglés de todos los niveles. Y no es para menos, porque se trata de
verbos que, unidos a una preposición o adverbio, cambian por completo de
significado. Por ejemplo, todos sabemos que look significa mirar, pero look after
mágicamente se convierte en cuidar. Como podemos ver, en algunos casos es bastante
difícil reconocer el significado de los prhasal verbs.
Otra característica es que se emplean principalmente en el registro coloquial, por lo
que son perfectos para incluirlos en nuestro Writing de B1 Preliminary Cambridge.
Además, aparecen constantemente tanto en el Listening como en el Reading del
examen, por lo que, para asegurarnos aprobar con nota, tenemos que tener muy claro el
significado y uso de los phrasal verbs B1.
Es importantísimo saber que, en las pruebas de los Listening, Cambridge juega mucho
con los sinónimos. Una forma de hacerlo es usar verbos y phrasal verbs equivalentes en
significado, como find out y discover, que ambos significan descubrir; o directamente
dos phrasal verbs que signifiquen lo mismo, como look after y take care of (cuidar en
español).
Esto también se aplica en la parte del Reading, pero son especialmente útiles en las
partes cinco y seis. En la parte número cinco tenemos que escoger una palabra entre
cuatro opciones muy similares y siempre hay mínimo un phrasal verb. En la parte
número seis tenemos que completar seis huecos en un texto con una palabra en cada
uno. En este caso, de nuevo, vuelven a ser muy frecuentes los phrasal verbs.
No te lleves aún las manos a la cabeza, porque aquí os traemos una lista de los phrasal
verbs B1 que más se repiten junto a su traducción y un ejemplo en contexto para
