JUSTIFICACIÓN
Este curso está diseñado para permitir al estudiante interactuar efectivamente con los
demás en el idioma extranjero dentro de una gama de situaciones comunicativas: en
su ámbito de aprendizaje, su trabajo, viajando, internet etc., dando a los estudiantes
conocimientos reflexivos a la lengua, el mundo y sus propias vidas. El material se
desarrolla con los alumnos y refleja su creciente madurez, así como sus necesidades
e intereses cambiantes
En este segundo curso se pretende alcanzar un nivel A1+- dentro del Marco Común
Europeo de Referencia (MCER) y tiene como fin proporcionar los conocimientos
necesarios acerca del uso de frases y expresiones de uso frecuente para comunicarse
y llevar a cabo tareas simples y cotidianas que no requieran más que intercambios
sencillos y directos de información sobre cuestiones que le son conocidas o
habituales, así como cuestiones relacionadas con sus necesidades inmediatas con
práctica suficiente
Se reconoce que la mayoría de los estudiantes no tendrán la oportunidad de vivir o
trabajar en un país anglófono, sin embargo, usarán su conocimiento en un contexto
de su trabajo o estudios dentro de su propio país.
OBJETIVO GENERAL
Proporcionar a los estudiantes un ambiente abierto y positivo que les permita
realmente experimentar el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua por medio de la
práctica de las habilidades comunicativas en contextos y situaciones reales
relacionadas con temas familiares, condiciones de la vida diaria, compras, lugares de
interés, ocupaciones, etc

OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS
Al finalizar este curso el estudiante está capacitado para:
Comprender frases y el vocabulario más habitual sobre temas de interés
personal y captar la idea principal de avisos y mensajes breves y sencillos.
Leer textos muy breves y sencillos; encontrar información específica y
predecible en escritos sencillos y cotidianos como anuncios publicitarios,
menús, horarios y cartas personales breves y sencillas.
Comunicarse en tareas sencillas y habituales que requieran un intercambio simple y
directo de información sobre actividades y asuntos cotidianos.
COMPETENCIAS
Durante este curso los estudiantes serán capaces de adquirir una buena competencia
comunicativa entendiéndose que ésta comprende a su vez tres componentes muy
importantes como son: el componente lingüístico, el componente pragmático y el
componente sociolingüístico utilizándolos adecuadamente en contextos reales.

METODOLOGÍA (Debe evidenciarse el empleo de nuevas tecnologías de apoyo a la
enseñanza y al aprendizaje)
Con respecto al presente curso, cada unidad tiene múltiples componentes los
cuales le proporcionan una gran variedad de ejercicios al estudiante. Estos
incluyen: - Actividades de fluidez y precisión, - Desarrollo y ejecución de las cuatro
habilidades de habla, escucha, escritura y lectura, - Análisis de la gramática, -
Material auténtico y tareas todo el tiempo relativas a los temas vistos - Todo lo
anterior unido al enfoque comunicativo y a las más recientes y actuales
metodologías para la enseñanza de las lenguas extranjeras, La metodología
empleada incluye: - El desarrollo de la conciencia lingüística y los procesos de
aprendizaje y uso de la lengua - El fomento por el respeto y la diversidad lingüística
de una cultura extranjera - Mucha práctica de las cuatro habilidades y sub-
habilidades comunicativas, - Total participación como clave del éxito.
SISTEMA DE EVALUACIÓN
El proceso de evaluación en este curso es continuo, sistemático y sustancialmente
conectado con las actividades y tareas de aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera,
donde se evalúan aspectos no sólo del dominio lingüístico, sino también
sociolingüístico y pragmático, componentes en los cuales los estudiantes tienen
que realizar actividades de lengua de carácter comunicativo y poner en
funcionamiento estrategias de comunicación y de expresión oral, escrita, de
comprensión auditiva, de comprensión de lectura, de comprensión audiovisual y de
interacción y mediación oral y escrita. Las categorías utilizadas para evaluar las
actividades comunicativas son:
Orales, de interacción y expresión, individual y por pares
Escritas, (de dominio, conocimiento, objetiva, sumativa, indirecta, etc.)
