seminario de tratamiento Homeopático del Cáncer Impartido en Guadalajara, México
en Marzo 26 del 2000 por el doctor A.U. Ramakrishnan: Seminario de tratamiento
Homeopático del Cáncer.

El propósito de estas es compartir información valiosa y confiable, lo cual nos

capacitara tratar a nuestros pacientes de cáncer en forma mas efectiva.

El doctor A.U. Ramakrishnan ( Madras, India ) curso estudios en el Hospital

Homeopático Royal de Londres, y obtuvo su membresia del cuerpo Docente
Homeopático en 1967. Ha estado practicando la homeopatía desde entonces. El es un
doctor ocupado. Visita clínicas en Singapore y los Estados Unidos para tratar a
pacientes de cáncer y trabaja de 7:30 a.m. a 9:30 p.m. El ve a cincuenta o más pacientes
diariamente. El nos confiesa haber perdido a una hermana y a un hermano debido al
cáncer.

Su experiencia en el tratamiento Homeopático del cáncer es extensa. El ha tratado más

de 5000 casos de cáncer. El se describe asimismo, como un hombre para Kentiano. Sin
embargo, usando clásico resultados con pacientes de cáncer el usa múltiples remedios
alternados, repetición frecuente de dosis y método Plus especial.

Como sucede probablemente en el caso de muchos homeópatas la mayoría de

pacientes con cáncer que vienen a tratamiento con el doctor Ramakrishnan están en
etapa avanzada.
Estas notas incluyen el consejo útil de dicho doctor. Los remedios para el cáncer mas
comúnmente indicados, los tipos de cáncer mas efectivamente tratados
homeopáticamente, sus protocolos de tratamiento y cuales están indicados para
ciertos tipos de cáncer.

Según su experiencia, los siguientes tipos de cáncer responden bien a la homeopatía:

 Astrocitoma del cerebro

 Cáncer en Cavidad oral
 Esófago
 Cabeza del páncreas
 Recto
 Ovarios
 Pecho
 Cervix del útero
 Próstata
 Vejiga urinaria

Según su experiencia los siguientes tipos de cáncer responden deficientemente a la
Homeopatía:

Los siguientes remedios Homeopáticos son comúnmente indicados en casos de
cáncer:

 Arsenicum album
 Arsenicum bromatum
 Aurum muriaticum
 Baryta salts (sales)
 Cadmium sulphuricum y otras sales de cadmium
 Carcinosinum
 Condurango
 Conium maculatum
 Euphorbium
 Hekla lava
 Hydrastis
 Sales de kalium (Arsenicosum, iodatum, bichcromicum y bromatum)
 Magnesia phosphorica
  Opium
 Phosphoro
 Plumbum y sus sales
 Radium bromatum
 Sabal serrulata
 Scirrhinum
 Symphytum

 Thuja
El piensa que el Carcinosinum y el Scirrhinum son los dos mas importantes.

› Protocolo del Dr. A.U. Ramakrishnan para el tratamiento del Cáncer

Hay un problema complejo para tratar el cáncer y hay a menudo una contra el tiempo.
Los efectos adversos de lesiones y primaria y secundaria requieren atención urgente.
Sólo debe usarse una medicina a la vez, pero las medicinas deben ser frecuentemente
alternadas.

1. Remedio para órganos/tejidos

La primera prescripción debe ser una medicina con afinidad especifica al
sitio del tumor primario.
2. Nosode
El Nosode apropiado debe prescribirse intercurrentemente con la
medicina para el órgano/tejido.
Nunca use un Nosode con potencia menor a 30c en caso de la
enfermedad correspondiente.
3. Remedio constitucional
La medicina del paciente constitucional debe prescribirse en alternancia
con las dos medicinas previas y en un tiempo posterior cuando la
enfermedad est bajo control. Al principio del tratamiento, especialmente
si el tumor est fuera de control, el remedio orgánico, el nosode y la
medicina constitucional deben darse por una semana cada uno en forma
alternativa. Las potencias más apropiadas son 30c, 200c y 1M,
especialmente si se usa la Técnica Plus, la cual ser explicada
posteriormente. El Dr.Ramakrishnan usa la potencia 200c cerca del 80%
de las veces cuando emplea Plus.
4. Sales de los Tejidos
Las sales bioquímicas de los tejidos son de gran uso como tratamiento
de mantenimiento por un largo período, por ejemplo:
Calcárea fluorica 6x por uno a seis años en un caso controlado de cáncer
óseo.
 5. Paliación
Las medicinas paliativas pueden prescribirse como analgésicos.
› Protocolos para el tratamiento Homeopático del Cáncer

1. Estados pre-cancerosos.
La Homeopatía es el tratamiento de elección. (La medicina convencional
tiene poco o nada que ofrecer).
2. Cáncer en etapa muy incipiente.
Homeopatía.
3. Protuberancia pequeña, operable, no hay glándulas, no se extiende.
Cirugía por Homeopatía.
4. Protuberancia operable con nódulos linfáticos afectados, que son
también operables.
5. Lesión primaria operable. Las secundarias en las glándulas y órganos.
Pruebe con Homeopatía de 3 a 4 semanas. Si no hay éxito, radioterapia
seguida por Homeopatía
6. Etapa 4, Fijacion primaria con efectos de presión en áreas circundantes y
secundarias diseminadas en el cuerpo. Homeopatía para paliación.
El Dr. Ramakrishnan advierte que la Homeopatía nunca debe emplearse
simultáneamente con la quimioterapia o radioterapia. Estas modalidades interferirían
con la acción de la medicina y por lo tanto el protocolo del tratamiento Homeopático
sería menos efectivo. Si la quimioterapia se esta dando intermitentemente, es decir,
semanal o bi-semanalmente, entonces el tratamiento Homeopático puede darse en los
días intercalados entre la dosis.

Por esta razón, las dosis intermitentes de quimioterapia son preferibles a la

dosificación continua, por ejemplo con una línea Hickman. Con la radioterapia en el
transcurso de esta, no debe darse el tratamiento Homeopático, sino que debe
empezarse al día siguiente en que termine la radioterapia.

› Potencia y dosificación

1. Para las condiciones precancerosas la potencia 30c o 200c una vez a la

semana por varios meses es lo adecuado.
2. En las etapas subsecuentes, la Plus en una técnica muy efectiva. La Plus
haría mucho menos probable la agravación, y asegura un impacto
poderoso de la medicina.
3. Cuando la enfermedad esta siendo bien controlada con Homeopatía o
cirugía, o la combinación de amabas de administrarse dosis solas de la
medicina indicada semanal, quincenal, mensual o bimestralmente como
sea apropiado.
› Sistemas Plus del Dr. A.U. Ramakrishnan
Tres píldoras del remedio se disuelven en once cucharaditas de agua. El paciente toma
una cucharadita cada 15 min. Se agita el agua suavemente entre cada dosis o si esta en
una botella se sacude una vez. El paciente toma 10(diez) cucharaditas en el transcurso
de las 3 horas y reserva la última cucharadita para el día siguiente. Al día siguiente se
agregan 10 (diez) cucharaditas de agua a esta cucharada y se repite el proceso. La
dosificación continua por 7 días.

Se ha encontrado que este modo ha sido extremadamente efectivo para reducir

rápidamente el tamaño del tumor y para disminuir el dolor. El Dr. Ramakrishnan nunca
ha visto una agravación usando técnica.

› Tipos de Cáncer y remedios frecuentemente indicados

Por supuesto se pueden indicar muchos otros remedios, pero el Dr. Ramakrishnan
encuentra que estas medicinas son las mas comúnmente indicadas para los tipos de
cáncer específicos que se enumeran.

– Astrocitoma o glioma del cerebro:

Plubum metallicum. Plubum Iodatum, si el tumor esta infectado. Los iodatums son
excelentes antisépticos, antibióticos y pueden usarse para cualquier tumor infectado.

Baryta carbónica y también algunas veces Muriaticum, son igualmente muy efectivas
en el cáncer del cerebro. La Baryta tiene una afinidad con el tejido del cerebro y la sal
Muriaticum es muy buena para restablecer el flujo sanguíneo al cerebro.

– Cáncer de la cavidad oral

90% requieren Aurum muriaticum. El cual tiene una afinidad estupenda con la cavidad
oral.

– Cáncer de la cavidad maxiliar, nasofaringe, orofaringe

(tumor esencialmente del periostio)
Phytolacca, Symphytum.

– Cáncer del esófago

Conium, Scirrhinum.

– Cáncer de la cabeza del páncreas

Ceanothus americanus. Ocasionalmente Natrum sulphuricum.
– Cáncer del recto
Graphites, Acidum nitricum, Hydrastis, Aloe.

– Cáncer de los ovarios

Lachesis, Lilium tigrinum. El ultimo en quiste chocolatoso de los ovarios que es un
estado pre-canceroso.

– Cáncer de pecho
Conium, Scirrhinum.

– Cáncer del cuello uterino

Aurum muriaticum natronatum (este remedio es también muy efectivo para el
sangrado disfuncional, leucorrea, amenorrea, etc.). Lachesis, Lilium tigrinum, Thiaspi
bursa pastoris, Sepia.

– Cáncer de la próstata
Conium, Thuja, Sabal serrulata, Hydrangea. A el le gusta Hydrangea como tratamiento
para cáncer de la próstata cuando ha de tratar los cálculos renales y de la vejiga. El Dr.
Ramakrishnan ha visto así numerosas curaciones de cáncer prostático. La homeopatía
puede reducir muy efectivamente los niveles del antígeno específico de la próstata
(PSA), una situación para la cual no hay tratamiento convencional. Si el PSA esta
marginalmente alto, use Thuja. Si esta muy alto, use Conium. Conium es mas o menos
especifico cuando el PSA esta muy alto y debe bajar los niveles a lo normal. Use la
potencia 200c, una vez cada dos semanas y hágase de nuevo chequeo después de dos
a cuatro meses.

– Cáncer de la vejiga(urinaria)
Terebinthina, Cántharis.

– Cáncer de la piel
Sulphur, Arsenicum lodatum, Calcárea arsenicosa. Los Epiteliomias usualmente se
infectan y por lo tanto Arsenucum iodatum es a menudo un tratamiento efectivo.

– Cáncer del estomago

(resultados deficientes)
Cadmium sulphuricum, Condurango, Omithogalum umbllatum

– Cáncer de los pulmones

(resultados deficientes a menos que se trate de un tumor primario)
Conium, Scirrhinum
– Medicinas para paliación de dolor
Arsenicum bromatum, Radium bromatum, Magnesia phosphórica, Plumbum Iodatum,
Opium, Aconitum, Sales de kali.

– En el cáncer sanguíneo
Ferrum Phosophorico, China arsenicosa y Kalium arsenicosum, todo se puede usar a la
6x, por su profunda acción en la sangre. Ayudan en la fiebre y el dolor músculo-
esqueletico. Una dosis de cuatro a seis diariamente.

› Principales remedios cancerígenos en detalle

 Carcinosinum
Este puede verificar la deterioración rápida en los casos terminales. El Dr.
Ramakrishnan ha estado asombrado por su acción en todas las etapas
del cáncer (nos lo en los casos de fuerte historial familiar o en los
estados pre-cancerosos, como se ha declarado algunas veces). La
imagen que el ve con frecuencia es la siguiente:
 Antecedente psicótico
 Actitud moralista en una persona joven.
 Sensible y con tendencia a la ansiedad.
 Indeciso con torpeza mental: esfuerzo para pensar.
 Dicotomía entre falta de confianza y un elevado estado
moralista con principios firmes, especialmente con un niño o
adolescente.
 Muchos temores: pobreza, muerte, de toda clase de tragedias.
 Gran deseo de dulces.
 Parpadeo de ojos y tics faciales.
 Cefalea frontal derecha
 Sueño o perturbado.
 

 Scirrhinum
(preparado del cáncer del hígado)
 La imagen de Scirrhinum semeja mucho a Phósphoro:
 Constitución delgada y friolenta
 Fuerte Deseo de bebidas frías
 Muchos temores
Síntomas clave (keynote): sensación de hundimiento a nivel del ombligo (Carcinoson,
Kalium carbonicum, Phosphorus).

– Otras características sobresalientes de Scirrhinum

 
 Hemorroides y algunas veces una masa hemorroidal necrótica
y crónica.
 Afecciones glandulares.
 Síntomas clave: glándulas y protuberancias que están duras
como piedra (Conium).
 Venas varicosas y ulceras varicosas dolorosas.
 Ascórides en los niños (salen hacia fuera de 5 a 6 p.m., no
durante la noche y causa gran comezón).
 Baryta Iodata
Un tratamiento glandular muy importante y por lo tanto efectivo donde
los ganglios linfáticos están involucrados. Es de uso especial en la post-
mastectomía con edema del brazo. Baryta iodata es efectiva porque el
componente de Baryta tiene afinidad con las glándulas y el componente
de Iodata es efectivo para la infección. Puede ser posible solo para
paliar.
 Sanguinaria
Es otra medicina para el estasis linfático y desordenes circulatorios en
general.
 Arsenicum bromatum
Un gran remedio para la piel infectada. Arsenicum tiene una afinidad y
Bromatum (como con los otros halógenos) tiene afinidad para las
infecciones.
Los bromuros u los halógenos son generalmente grandes tratamientos
para glándulas, infecciones e induración en los senos y otro tejido. Si las
induraciones están calcificadas, use Calcárea flúorica.
También esta indicado Arsenicum bromatum en el linfoma de Hodgkin.
 Aurum muriaticum
Una afinidad muy fuerte con el cáncer de la boca. También puede usarse
para tratar la leucoplasia (una condición pre-cancerosa de la boca).
También para el Lichen Planus, que es potencialmente canceroso y se
encuentra tanto en la boca como en la piel.
 Conium maculatum
Cuando hay glándulas como piedra (Scirrhinum) en cáncer del pecho,
hígado, próstata, esófago y glándulas en cualquier parte. Casi específico
cuando est elevado el PSA. Conium es el tratamiento como ancla de la
esperanza en el cáncer de la próstata (el siguiente es Sabal serrulata)
 Conium y el hígado
Conium tiene una fuerte afinidad con el hígado, posiblemente porque el
hígado es un órgano duro y la dureza es la esencia de Conium. Puede
usarse tratar la n adiposa del hígado, cirrosis alcohólica y no alcohólica,
tumores benignos en el hígado y hepatomegalia.
  Euphorbium officinalis
Muchos pacientes de cáncer tienen dolor severo y Euphorbium es un
tratamiento muy efectivo para dolores quemantes muy severos, que se
alivian por medio de aplicaciones frías. Euphorbium es un paciente
friolento. El dolor quemante puede ser debido a un proceso gangrenoso
interno. Debe darse a la 6x o 12x o en tintura, con frecuencia de una a
dos horas.
 Hekla lava
(Contiene Sílica, Alímina, Magnesium, Oxido de hierro y Carbonato de
calcio). Para sarcomas, mielomas malignos, enfermedad de anguila,
algunas leucemias, exostosis, espolón calcíneo, pulís (un crecimiento del
proceso angular de la mandíbula superior o inferior- también y los
crecimientos óseos en el cráneo).
 Hydrastis
Un tratamiento muy importante para el cáncer. Tyler lo resalta como
muy importante para estados precancerosos. Para cáncer del estomago
y para el que afecta generalmente al tracto intestinal. Es a menudo útil
donde se desconoce el primario y hay muchos síntomas estomacales.
También cubren bien al sistema respiratorio.
 Imagen sintomática
Lengua flácida, sensación de vacío en el estomago, todas las
descargas son pótridas casi como pus y aliento muy fátido.
Hydrastis es muy bueno para tumores infectados.
En este caso dar una 30c cuatro veces diarias por una semana y luego reconsiderar.

 Sales de Kali
Hay grandes medicinas para el sistema nervioso, donde hay debilidad y
postración; es por lo tanto importante en etapas terminales. Kalium
bromatum es til donde hay secundarios en el cerebro, especialmente si
están produciendo convulsiones.
 Opium
Donde hay un dolor extremo y para síntomas que surgen miedo. Opium
es uno de los remedios líderes para el miedo. También para el estupor,
la semi-inconsciencia y sentido de resignación.
 Plumbum metallicum y Iodatum
Cáncer del cerebro
Donde hay cíclicos y espasmos, o constipación (es decir, exceso de
actividad o inactividad intestinal).
Parálisis muscular local.
Subluxaciones- dislocaciones repetidas de articulaciones debido a
debilidad muscular.
Ataques con espasmos uniformemente de la cabeza a los pies.
 Cansancio físico y mental.
Síntomas de esfuerzo mental. Cáncer del cerebro- si es primario, una
potencia 2000, si es secundario, especialmente con dolor o ataques, use
Plumbum iodatum a la 6x cada hora o dos. Astrocitoma, Glioma y
neoplasmas de la médula espinal.
 Radium Bromatum
Un gran remedio para la resequedad y descomposición en tejidos y por
lo tanto es a menudo indicado en post-radioterapia y Para comezón y
ardor muy prominentes.
 Sabal serrulata
Hipertrofia prostatica benigna- tintura o 6x cáncer de la próstata o PSA
elevado, potencia 30c en adelante.
 Cadmium sulphuricum
Uno de los remedios mas friolentos. Para alivio sintomático de cáncer
del estómago, donde hay asientos de caf o vómito negro. Cadmium
bromatum o Cadmium iodatum, pueden usarse también, especialmente
si el paciente es de sangre caliente. Cadmium iodatum puede emplearse
para la enfermedad de Hodgkin.
 Symphytum
Esta medicina tiene una fuerte afinidad con el hueso y puede usarse para
todas las infecciones y cáncer del hueso y periostio. Puede usarse en
osteomielitis con Arsenicum iodatum a la 6x, Sarcomas, tumor de Ewing
y osteoclastoma- un cáncer auto-limitante del hueso que nunca se
extiende.
 Terebinthina
Puede ser muy efectiva en el cáncer de la vejiga alta potencia para curar,
baja potencia para alivio sintomático. Muy efectiva para la angurria y
hematuria. (También en un tratamiento muy útil para albuminuria
simple, por ejemplo en un niño con glomerulonefritis).
 Thuja
Cáncer de la garganta, faringe, cuerdas vocales, páncreas, recto y
próstata.
› Algunos casos de cáncer tratados por el Dr. A.U. Ramakrisnan
Los siguientes casos se usan como ejemplos para demostrar el protocolo.

 Caso 1.
Cáncer del pecho. Mujer de 32 años. Grado1.
Una protuberancia de 2.5 cm de diámetro en el seno derecho,
movimiento libre, sin adenitis. La protuberancia es indolora y dura como
piedra. La paciente rehusa rotundamente la cirugía a pesar de toda clase
de consejo. La paciente resulta ser una típica constitucional de Pulsatilla
(Pueden ser muy testarudas).Tratamiento
 Semana 1 Scirrhinum 200c Plus
Semana 2 Conium 200c Plus
Semana 3 Scirrhinum 200c Plus
Semana 4 Conium 200c PlusEl tratamiento continua en esta forma hasta
que a las 8 semanas la protuberancia estaba más suave y ligeramente
más pequeña.Semana 9 y 10 Pulsatilla 200c Plus
Semana 11 La protuberancia esta completamente despejada.Scirrhinum
200c una vez al mes por seis meses. Fin del tratamiento. La paciente ha
estado libre del cáncer desde hace tres años.Este caso muestra el uso de
un remedio orgánico (Coniun), el Nosode apropiado (Scirrhinum) y el
remedio constitucional (Pulsatilla) y el uso posterior del Nosode
(Scinrrhinum) profil prácticamente por algunos meses después de la
eliminación del tumor.El Dr. Ramakrishnan trató este caso en forma por
demás renuente. El esta muy a favor de la cirugía en el grado 1. El
reporte docenas de casos semejantes don dramáticas curaciones de
cáncer.
 Caso 2.
Astrocitoma del cerebro que se presenta con una tercera recurrencia
después de tres operaciones. El tumor estaba en el lóbulo frontal sobre
el lado izquierdo. El paciente ha disminuido su memoria de corto
término, mentalidad lenta y movimientos lentos.Prescripción:
Plumbum iodato 200c con Plus alternando con Arcinosin 200c con Plus.
Después de 3 meses, Baryta carbónica 200c cada 2 semanas. Después de
6 meses el tumor ha desaparecido completamente.El paciente
permanece bien 9 años más tarde. El Dr. Ramakrishnan ha tenido mucho
éxito con el astrocitoma del cerebro, incluso en la tercera etapa.

Gelassenheit, besseres Arbeitsverhalten beschreiben. Insofern scheint Calendula ein sehr
„lächelndes“ Mittel zu sein, ganz im Gegensatz zum in der vorliegenden Materia Medica
beschriebenen mürrisch-reizbaren Grundzug bei Verletzungen. Man denkt dabei sofort an jene
Patienten, die bei der Anamnese über ihre Leiden berichten und dennoch lächeln, gelassen sind,
scheinbar unberührt von ihrer Krankheit. Diese Unangemessenheit des Ausdrucks der eigenen
Beschwerden ist aufgrund des vorliegenden Materials sicher ein wichtiger Aspekt, der sich
andeutet. Wie so oft scheint auch hier der polare Wesenszug auf, das plötzliche Absinken der
Motivation, die unvermutete emotionale Schwäche den täglichen Obliegenheiten gegenüber, das
Gefühl, sich bei seinen Tätigkeiten verlangsamt oder wie unter Drogen stehend zu fühlen.

Hierzu sei noch eine Anmerkung gemacht, die von einem Prüfer stammt, der
sozusagen ausser Konkurrenz als nichtärztlicher Proband an der Prüfung teilnehmen wollte und
Calendula erhalten hatte.

Er verspürte unmittelbar nach Beginn der Prüfung den dringenden Wunsch, nach Hause zu seiner
Ursprungsfamilie zu fahren, um alte, plötzlich wieder erinnerte Verletzungen zu klären, sie mit
seinen
Verwandten zu besprechen, ohne Hass oder Ressentiment, mit der einfachen und ehrlichen
Absicht, die alten Wunden sozusagen an die Oberfläche zu holen und heilen zu lassen. Vielleicht
liegt hier eines der Kernthemen von Calendula, das ja als Verletzungsmittel für oberflächliche
Schürfungen, Wunden mit Substanzdefekten vor allem eingesetzt wird: Das Ausheilen alter
Wunden, die aus der Tiefe des Unterbewusstseins an die Oberfläche steigen (Nat-m./Staph.),
sodass sie ans Licht geführt der sanften Behandlung und Ausheilung zugänglich werden. Dieser
Proband muss seine Familienmitglieder mit seiner Ankunft zuerst ziemlich erschreckt haben und
nicht jeder ging erfreut auf seine Versuche der Bearbeitung alter Familienfehden ein. Für ihn aber
geschah, was er sich schon oft gewünscht hatte:

Frieden schliessen.

Er kam innerlich lächelnd von seiner spontanen Reise in die Vergangenheit zurück.

Wie viele Patienten kreuzen unseren Weg, die alte Wunden und Verletzungen in sich
herumtragen, an deren Folgen sie bis heute tragen, und die uns lächelnd und scheinbar ungerührt
von solchen Ereignissen berichten, als ob sie sie nichts angingen. Wenn sie aber an die Oberfläche
kommen, können sie sichtbar werden, ausheilen und diese Menschen in ein leichteres Jetzt
führen.

Suppression of emotions is a key factor in the development of Cancer and this brings us back to

go forth. It is this that gives Calendula its essential characteristics - to remove the obstruction
causing pain, to soothe and restore without any scarring, physically, mentally and emotionally
(blinded by false communication.

Pain is excessive and out of all proportion” (someone is almost hysterical with the pain/cannot
tolerate being hurt/SENsitive to pain: mental/physical/emotional).

Used in the treatment of Bulimia - where the emotional hurt turns inward and the individual
‘chooses’ to destroy themselves. This is a good example of the mind betraying the body.

Irritable is another strong emotion - sensitivity = ‘out of proportion’

It gets to be too much to bear so an outburst of irritation sort of transfers the sensation
elsewhere. Being a Heliotrope (moves with the sun)/relieved from this sensitivity by walking
around a lot - again it distracts. <<< damp and cloudy weather when they can’t see the light, and
so much >>> for the radiance of the sun. Hearing ACUTE (slightest noise startles).
Kent: “The proving of Calen is nearly worthless that we cannot expect at present to use it as a
guide to the internal administration of the remedy. There are only a few things that I have ever
been able to get out of it.

In injuries Calendula cannot be ignored, in cuts with laceration, surface or open injuries.
Dilute Calen used locally will keep the wound odorless, will reduce the amount of pus,
and favor granulation in the very best possible manner/assists the surgeon in healing up surface
wounds. Calen is all the dressing you will need for open wounds and severe lacerations. It takes
away the local pain and suffering. You may easily see we are not now dealing

with a condition that exists because of a state within the economy, but because of something that
is without. There is nothing that will cause these external injuries to heal so beautifully as the
Marigold.

Such are the expressive qualities of one of our most well known homeopathic remedies, and
maybe they are suggestive of how powerful and deep acting this remedy could be. There is
creativity, birth, language, receptivity, communication, spiritual forces and benign compassion - all
contained within the healing properties of this remedy.
Calendula was first used as a deobstruent - to relieve the obstruction, to unblock, to let the free
passage of expression flow forth - not just of speech but for the birthing of all ideas. As
Homeopaths we all know what can

happen when these acts of creativity are suppressed or thwarted, when our natural inclinations
are deviated into disease. It becomes the first instance of pathology.

My interest in Calendula is many fold - apart from the wide and varied physical applications it is
the lack of real depth in the mental and emotional symptoms which are presented in
the Materia Medicas; the link this remedy

has with Cancer and the fact that it has only been partially proved, which really stir my
imaginations.

There are many reasons why substances have been chosen for provings and much has to do with
how that substance has been used historically. Plenty of scope here for Calendula then.

The ancients considered Calendula to be a deobstruent remedy, exerting a great influence on the

circulation and strengthening the heart. It has long been used an an antiseptic, stimulant and
diaphoretic.

Dioscorides: Cancer;

Fuchsius: Toothache.

Gerarde: Inflamed eyes.

Westring: Calendula was formerly much requested as a medicine and was used more especially in
carcinoma and scirrhus with great effect in the third stage particularly in diminishing the pain and
rendering the pus less

corroding. It was also used in chlorosis, hysteria, epilepsy, jaundice and some kinds of dropsy.

Boerhaave: Uterine diseases/diseases of the kidney and liver.

Many found it of great efficacy as a lotion to fresh wounds, inducing union by the first intention.
Zorn considered it of great service in throwing out the eruption of measles and small-pox, and as
an application to stop the

bleeding of haemorrhoids.

Used for obstinate vomiting, cardialgia, diseases of the glands, compound fractures, amputations,
suppurating abscesses, and violent pains of the uterus.

“Modern” usage: gangrene, fractures, sprains, herpetic eruptions, eczema, nasal catarrh, blisters
on tongue, syphilitic ozaena, gonorrhea, non-specific urethritis, uterine subinvolution,
engorgement of uterine walls, uterine hypertrophy, suppressed menses, menorrhagia,
chronic cervicitis, warts on the cervix, swelling of the breasts without pain, gout of the
spine, spina bifida, one sided paralysis, coma, concussion, swollen glands, toothache,
haemorrhages, septicemia, injuries to the eyes, diplopia, insect stings (antidote to Apis), open
wounds, burns and life threatening injuries involving the skin, tendons, cellular tissues and
muscles - healing without leaving

any scars. "Calendula is the greatest non-poisonous germicide, antiseptic, reliever of pain and
healer of wounds that has ever been brought into use". Dr. W. M. Gregory in Eclectic Medical
Journal.

There are also some rather more unusual symptoms worth noting - deafness, where one can hear
better on a train, or hear distant sounds better, cannot hear 2 people talking together - the pains
are excessive and out of

proportion to the injury suffered - bulimia (and maybe other eating disorders) - and stabbing pains
from within to without, like being stabbed in the back!

Modalities: >> perspiration (unblocking and free discharges)/sleep/walking about/lying very

still/21 - 3 h. (when the flowers are open); << chill/drinking/damp, heavy and cloudy weather (it is
a heliotrope and follows the sun

so the flowers will close if there is no sun).

Can be thirsty or thirstless.

Chief use: Cancer (skin/breast/uterus/abdomen/nose/pharynx/larynx, scrofulous and sclerotic

tumours, fungus tumours, fribroma, and it was the main ingredient of the famous Rust Pill which
consisted of oxide of iron, Colewort, and extract of Marigold. It is the extraordinary successful
application of Calendula, in the use of wounds, which I would like to extend to those of 'wounded
emotions and mental faculties' which might be involved in the history of someone who develops
one of the worst wounds of all - Cancer. To get there, let's have abit more history.....

Calendula Officinalis or, the common marigold, is familiar to everyone, with its pale green leaves
and golden orange flowers. It is said to bloom in the calends of every month, hence its Latin name.
Many think it was named after the Virgin Mary, but this came later and it is actually a corruption of
the Anglo-Saxon merso-meargealla, the Marsh Marigold.

Marigold was just one of the flowers associated with Mary, the mother of Jesus - you will see her
dresses adorned with them and it was the flower used at the Feast of the Annunciation of the
Virgin, and she was honoured as the House of Gold because in her the Blessed Trinity performed
such great and wonderful things. This may or may not be religious idealism and regardless of one's
own religious feelings the virtuous story of Mary, the mother of Jesus, really is an idealism that is
hard to live up to. Pregnant before marriage, had several children, one of which she had to witness
exaltation of, intense prejudice and suspicion towards and finally observed his painful execution
and disappearance of his remains. Whether she witnessed this with silent dignity, humility or
outrage we do not know but she surely suffered one of the worse possible woundings - that of
losing a child.

Little is known about how Mary herself died but my thoughts lead easily towards Cancer. Maybe
she experienced an overwhelming sense of gloom and doom which is associated with this remedy.
And also that of separation, from her child.
This is another theme running through Calendula. A physical wounding involves separation of the
tissues and an emotional wounding can leave many scars and equally requires the reunion of
harmonious forces. It would also be very interesting to know if she suffered any diseases of the
reproductive organs (as Calendula has such a strong affinity to these regions) and whether the so
called 'virgin birth' had any relevance in this. (Calendula has 'sensation

as if something alive in the womb').

Suppression of emotions is a key factor in the development of Cancer and this brings us back to
the deobstruent qualities of Calendula - that of being able to unblock, to let a free passage or flow
go forth. It is this that gives Calendula its essential characteristics - to remove the obstruction
causing pain, to soothe and restore without any scarring, physically, mentally and emotionally. It
restores the vision when we have been blinded by false communication.

Cancer has been encumbered by many boundless and unlimited metaphors.

It mystifies and arouses dread. Just the confirmation of the diagnosis can worsen the condition. It
is looked upon as a form of contamination; the body is suffering an invasion and is under attack
and thus requires a treatment which provides an adequate counter-attack; evil and slow but
uncontrollable growths which one can either fight or succumb to; it is seen as a form of
punishment "why me?"; cancer 'spreads'; tumours are usually excised leaving a mutilated body;
other treatments are often worse than the disease itself; people with cancer are often lied to; rich
countries have high rates of cancer; it is a disease associated with affluence and excess; cancer is a
judgement on the individual as well as on the community - the mind eventually betrays the body.

In her book 'Illness As Metaphor', Susan Sontag writes about the notion of disease fitting the
patient's character: "Disease can be challenged by the will. 'The will exhibits itself as organized
body,' wrote Schopenhauer, but he denied that the will itself could be sick.

Recovery from a disease depends on the will assuming 'dictatorial power in order to subsume the
rebellious forces' of the body. One generation earlier, a great physician, Bichat, had used a similar
image, calling health 'the silence of organs,' disease 'their revolt'. Disease is what speaks through
the body, a language for dramatizing the mental: a form of self-expression."

Sontag includes Auden's cute poem about Miss Gee, written in the 1930's (just 2 verses here):

'Nobody knows what the cause is,

Though some pretend they do;

It's like some hidden assassin,

Waiting to strike at you.

'Childless women get it,

And men when they retire;

It's as if there had to be some outlet

For their foiled creative fire'.....

Foiled creative fire is just one obstruence that Calendula could heal, given the chance.

Sontag also concludes that "the cancer personality is regarded with condescension, as one of life's
losers. Napoleon, Ulysses S. Grant, Robert A. Taft and Hubert Humphrey have all had their cancer
diagnosed as the reaction to political defeat and the curtailing of their ambitions. And the cancer
deaths of those harder to describe as losers, like Freud and Wittgenstein,

have been diagnosed as the gruesome penalty exacted for a lifetime of instinctual renunciation.
Few remember that Rimbaud died of cancer)."

And so in Calendula we have, Delusion, imaginations he is falling; Delusion, imaginations he is

falling from a height; Dreams, falling from high places. When we lose our position in life,

the safety net - this reminds one of Veratrum, but Veratrum develops a highly delusional state to
compensate for the loss - Calendula becomes scarred and riddled with Cancer.

There is a great sense of weight, of burdens, of dark clouds hanging over, gloom and doom, a deep
depression where they cannot see the light. An overwhelming sense that something bad is going

to happen. They become easily frightened and startled.

With this there is a sense of dullness and a dreamy state which can alternate with nervousness,
anxiety and irritability or of being morose and taciturn. They carry with them a sense of separation
- when wounds cannot be healed, when union cannot be effected. There is also a sense of being
torn and jagged, as if beaten. Exhaustion results and there is some relief from sleep, but it is not a
sleep of any great quality - restless at night, wakes screaming, continual waking, general lassitude
prevails. Calendula contains much nitrogen, phosphoric acid and iodine which might explain some
of these disparate states.

Calendula also has:- "Pain is excessive and out of all proportion" - so you can picture someone who
is almost hysterical with the pain, who cannot tolerate being hurt, so very sensitive to pain
whether it be mental, physical or emotional. It is very interesting that Calendula has been used in
the treatment of Bulimia - where the emotional hurt turns inward and the individual 'chooses' to
destroy themselves.

This is a good example of the mind betraying the body.

Irritability is another strong emotion - it comes down again to this extreme, 'out of proportion'
sensitivity It gets to be too much to bear so an outburst of irritation sort of transfers the sensation
elsewhere. Being a Heliotrope, always moving with the sun, you can see how they are relieved
from this sensitivity by walking around a lot - again it distracts. They are also so much <<< for
damp and cloudy weather when they can't see the light, and so much >>> for the radiance of the
sun. The hearing is very acute and sensitive so even the slightest noise can startle them - they hear
and

sense everything acutely.

Article by the Editor of the Hom. World, in the Homoeopathic Recorder, May, 1891, Vol. VI, No. 3:
"The other day I was told by a friend that he had, last autumn, chewed a Calendula leaf for

a few minutes; the effect was most marked and very striking. It entirely removed for some days
the difficulty in making water, with which he had long been troubled, and which is so common in
elderly people. I have a suspicion myself that Calendula affects the spinal chord, from certain
unpleasant feelings which I have when making it from the fresh plant." - C.W. To the foregoing the
Editor of Hom. World appends the following note: In response to our request for a fuller
description of these feelings our contributor replies that the symptom was very difficult to
describe: "

There was such a feeling as if some overwhelming calamity was hovering over me as to be almost
unbearable.

3 years ago, just after making the tincture, my old enemy, the gout, nipped me in the middle of the
spine, and in three days spoiled all my powers of walking; and then the dreadful feeling became
very much exaggerated."

The trouble is - Calendula has only been partially proved.

else. Do not suppress symptoms that you will need to guide you to a remedy."

One might argue that we do have enough of a full symptom picture for Calendula but I would like
to encourage a new proving, to absolutely confirm the symptom picture of Calendula and give it its
proper hierarchy in the Repertories and Materia Medicas - even if it is just for wounded parents
who have lost a child.

ulcerations (sensation of fine needles), the debility.  It is to be thought of in confirmed cancer in
which it can act, if not on the general state, at least on the painful element.

Scrofularia Nodosa: This remedy acts especially on cancers of breast, skin, uterus, rectum, in low
potencies or material doses, especially if there is marked glandular invasion. A. Nebel praised its
drainage action; Cooper insisted very much on its value.
Lyc: Lycopodium evolutes toward cancer through its hepatic insufficiency. In confirmed cancer it
barely has any value since it has no power over the tumoral element as have Thuja, Iodium or
Silicea. If the hepatic insufficiency is great, it should be cautiously employed in low potencies for
even the 30th has often shown itself to be wrong, in cases

of hepatic blockage.

Sulph: Ought to be reserved for the pre-tumoral state. It has no favorable action in a confirmed
cancer, even at the start, and can even be unwise by favoring the wasting.

Sempervivum Tectorum: Lingual, breast, rectal and other cancers. Its tendency to aphthae, to
malignant ulcers, specially indicate it in the ulcerated cancer. It must be used

in mother tincture or low potencies.

Phytolacca: A remedy which must not be neglected in hard or scirrhous tumors, since it can soften
and diminish them; or slightly malignant cancers which develop slowly (breast scirrhus) or on
suspected tumors which have not yet degenerated (parotids).

Dr.Patel bestimmt zur Behandlung das chronische (miasmatische) Mittel, bzw. gibt immer wieder
dazwischen Gaben der Nosode des betreffenden Miasm.

4. Gerade schwere Erkrankungen lassen sich nur erfolgreich behandeln wenn man wirklich die
hahnemannsche Theorie der Behandlung chronischer Krankheiten beherrscht. Gerade in dem
Punkt habe ich Einiges dazugelernt.

5. Eine wesentliche Erkenntnis, die sich aus dem vorherigen Punkt ergibt, ist die Bedeutung von
Calc. als wichtige Krebsarznei/= eines der wichtigsten Antipsorika und die Psora ist für Dr. Patel die
hauptsächliche Grundlage für das Entstehen eines Karzinoms.

6. Verwendet werden meist LM-Potenzen in der LM 1 bis LM 3.

7. Zusätzlich kommt eine Diät und Beratung der Lebensordnung und ein strenges Kontrollschema.
Krebspatienten müssen 1x pro Monat in die Praxis kommen.

8. Die Verordnung für einen Krebspatienten schaut meist so aus:

a) Ein lokal wirkendes Mittel in der Urtinktur, bzw. D3, als „Ausleitungsmittel“.

b) Ein lokal wirkendes organotropes Mittel um die Tumorsymptome zu lindern (LM 1 o. LM 3). Oft
über Jahre gleich gegeben.

c) Chronische (antimiasmatische) Mittel in der LM 30 o. C  C 200 alle 2 Wochen

d) Das chronische antimiasmatische Mittel kann durch eine Nosode in C 30 o. C 200 ersetzt
werden. Nosoden werden 2x monatlich gegeben und das über einen längeren Zeitraum.

1. Patient, 42a, männlich, Diagnose: Kleinzelliges Bronchialkarzinom

CT-Befund vom 25.03.94 zeigt einen Tumor von 60 mal 40 mal 135 mm Größe in der linken
mittleren Lungenregion. Es wird zur Chemotherapie geraten, die der Patient nicht durchführen
will.

Derzeit: Husten, gelbes Sputum, schwierig heraufzubringen. Linksseitige Brustschmerzen strahlen

zum linken Schulterblatt und zur Schulter. Appetitverlust, Gewichtsverlust. Kopfschmerzen in der
Sonne

und bei körperlicher Anstrengung, besser durch Schlaf. Brennende Bauchschmerzen, Verstopfung.
Vor 2 Wochen mit dem Rauchen aufgehört.

Therapie am 25.03.94:

-Hydrastis D3 zwei x täglich . 5 Tropfen

-Calcium carbonicum LM3 drei x täglich .

-Carcinosinum C30 alle zwei Wochen

20.04.94: Kopfschmerzen, Brustschmerzen, Husten mit Schleim, kleiner Knoten in der rechten
Axilla. Therapie idem.

06.05.94: Verstopfung, wenig Appetit. Therapie idem.

07.06.94: Brennen der Handflächen, Kopfschmerzen seit 2 Tagen. Therapie idem.

20.06.94: Brustschmerzen, Schlaflosigkeit, Brennen der Füße. Therapie: Aconit LM8

04.07.94: Kopfschmerzen, Verstopfung, Brustschmerzen. Therapie wieder mit Hydrastis, Calcium

carb. und Carcinosin in den Potenzen wie oben.

19.07.94: Verstopfung, Stuhl nur ein mal pro Woche. Dr.Patel gibt Bittersalz und Einlauf.

09.08.94: Kopfschmerzen, Knieschmerzen, Schmerz in der linken Brust. Therapie wie vorher.
03.09.94: Schmerzen linkes Bein, linke Hand, Verstopfung. Therapie idem.

30.09.94: Brustschmerzen, Kopfschmerzen. Therapie idem.

Die Therapie wird gleich weitergegeben bis zum:

10.01.95: Fühlt sich besser, kein Husten. Therapie idem

Und so weiter in monatlichen Kontrollabständen.

2º paciente, 73 años, diagnóstico: anemia aplásica

Antecedentes: Desde 7 años, el paciente es tratado médicamente por colitis ulcerosa Tratado. Ella
toma prednisolona 5 mg al día. Una biopsia de médula ósea del Cresta pélvica hace 2 meses

resultó en el diagnóstico de aplásica Anemia. En los últimos dos meses, el paciente tuvo que

Prostate cáncer + Granada

tumor levels of glutathione, a major intracellular antioxidant. Our results indicate that reduction in
the level of oxidative stress may be a potential mechanism by which the n-3 PUFA–rich diet
potentiated the tumor-suppressive effect of tamoxifen. Our interventions were well tolerated
without evidence of toxicity. Combined administration of tamoxifen and n-3 PUFA is a promising
new approach to breast cancer prevention. Because of its safety, this combination can quickly be
translated to the clinic if its superiority can be supported by future studies“.

Zu beachten:

Bei banalen Erkrankungen kann jeder selbst entscheiden, ob die Einnahme von Globuli sinnvoll
erscheint oder nicht. Bei einer Prostatitis kann davon ausgegangen werden, dass nach Einnahme
des passenden Arzneimittels eine rasche und eindeutige Besserung innerhalb von 24 Stunden
eintritt. Bleibt diese Besserung aus, so sollte spätestens

dann umgehend ein Urologe hinzugezogen werden, der gegebenenfalls eine antibiotische
Therapie einleiten muss. Ärzte mit der Zusatzbezeichnung „Homöopathie“ sind

im Gegensatz zu Heilpraktikern approbierte Ärzte und werden in akuten Notfallsituationen

Prostatitiden treten erstmals oft schon im dritten oder vierten Lebensjahrzehnt, meist als Folge
einer Durchnässung oder Verkühlung auf.

Die Symptome der akuten Entzündung sind Fieber, evtl. auch Schüttelfrost, einhergehend mit
dysurischen Beschwerden. Meist besteht schmerzhafter

Harndrang und eine Pollakisurie sowie ein schweres allgemeines Krankheitsgefühl.

Ist die Prostata einmal von Bakterien besiedelt, so entwickelt sich oft eine chronische Prostatitis
mit rezidivierenden Infektionen von Blase, Nebenhoden und Harnröhre.

Die eigentlichen Symptome der Prostata bei chronischer Entzündung sind uncharakteristisch. Oft
werden Beschwerden wie Unterbauchschmerzen, Schmerzen des Beckenbodens und dergleichen
von unerfahrenen Therapeuten fehl interpretiert. Erst wenn Symptome wie blutiges Ejakulat oder
Infektzeichen der die Prostata umgebenden Organe (Blase, Harnröhre, Nebenhoden, Rektum)
auftreten, wird klar, dass ein urologisches Krankheitsbild vorliegt.
Da ein akuter Infekt beim Mann oft eine Exazerbation einer chronischen Grunderkrankung ist
(Prostataadenom, chronische Prostatitis, funktionelle Blasenentleerungsstörung anderer Art),
muss die homöopathische Behandlung -soll sie erfolgreich sein- auch diese Grundkrankheit mit
einbeziehen.

Bei chronischen Entzündungen empfehle ich vorrangig die (klassische) Homöopathie. Hier hat die
Schulmedizin nicht viel zu bieten. Die Verordnung von Antibiotika,

u.U. mehrmals pro Jahr bzw. sogar als Dauertherapie, oder gar die Operation der Prostata bei
chronischer Prostatitis sind Zeichen der Hilflosigkeit, mit der die heutige Medizin diesen
Krankheitsbilder gegenübersteht. Durch die Gabe von -nach klassischer Anamnese ausgewählten-
Homöopathika läßt sich die Erkrankung fast ausnahmslos ausheilen oder zumindest so weit in Griff
kriegen, dass -auch langfristig- kein nennenswerter Leidensdruck mehr besteht.

Die wichtigsten und häufigsten Prostataerkrankungen sind die Prostatitis, das Prostataadenom
sowie das Prostatakarzinom. Ursache und Symptome dieser Krankheiten sind sehr variabel; daher
ist auch deren Therapie unterschiedlich. Traditionell haben Phytotherapeutika einen großen
Stellenwert bei der Behandlung der Prostatitis sowie des Adenoms. Das Prostatakarzinom
erfordert eine individuell nach Persönlichkeit und Gemüt des Patienten ausgewählte Therapie. Das
Spektrum erstreckt sich von der

sofortigen Operation bis hin zum (auch langfristig beabsichtigtem) kontrollierten Zuwarten unter
lokaler Kontrolle. Dann wären ergänzende immunregulative

Maßnahmen, wie z.B. auch die Gabe von Homöopathika, sehr sinnvoll.

Prostatitis

Die Entzündung der Prostata entwickelt sich in der Regel aus einer nicht bemerkten, einer
„verschleppten“ oder nicht ausbehandelten Cystitis. In manchen Fällen kommt

es auch nach einer schweren Atemwegsinfektion zu einer fortgeleiteten Entzündung der Prostata.
Auch andere chronische Infektionsherde, wie z.B. ein unter Eiter stehender Zahn, können Schübe
einer rezidivierenden Prostatitis auslösen.

Arzneien, bei denen die Prostata verspürt wird Mittel, bei denen die Prostata verspürt wird (Kugel,
Schwere, Schwellung, Fülle):

Chim-u. Con. Dig. Sep. Puls. Cop. Med. Cub. Sil. Staph. Nux-v. Berb. Cycl. Thuj. Sulph.

Calc.: neben < Kälte einige Auffälligkeiten beim Koitus: brennende Ejakulation, brennende oder
stechende Schmerzen in der Harnröhre nach dem Koitus (Cub. Merc. Sep. Sulph. Thuj.), vorzeitige
Ejakulation, dazu auch stechende Schmerzen in den Samensträngen und Dysurie <
Feuchtigkeit/Nässeeinwirkung/Stehen auf kaltem Boden.

Kali-bi.: Ein weiteres wichtiges Mittel mit Bezug zu Prostataerkrankungen. Es hat Stechen als
typische Schmerzqualität, < gehend. in der vorderen Harnröhre besteht ein brennendes Gefühl,
meist während und nach der Miktion. Eigentümlich ist die Empfindung von nach der Miktion
weiterhin fließendem Harn oder von in der Harnröhre zurückbleibendem Harn.
Aur-met.: ebenfalls Stechend. Wenn die Hoden in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden, brennende
Ejakulation besteht und evtl. eine schmerzhafte Harnretention, urethrale Symptomatik ist
untypisch.

Lyc.: Prostataschmerz ist stechend oder drückend und tritt vorwiegend während und nach der
Miktion auf. Es besteht eine Schmerzausstrahlung zur Blase, Harnröhre, Glans penis und Anus;
tröpfelnde Harnentleerung um 16 h., abends und nachts; Harninkontinenz im Stehen.

Cycl.: häufig nur Prostatasymptome: Stechen bei Harn-/Stuhldrang oder während der
Harnentleerung bzw. drückende oder tiefe innere Verletzung wahrgenommener Eingrif
(Cystoskopie).

< Gehen Sulph. (Kali-bi./Cycl.); drückender oder einschnürender Schmerz sowie Auffälligkeiten der
Ejakulation (Brennen, wässriges Ejakulat, unvollständige Ejakulation) vervollständigen das lokale
Bild; oft bestehen Blasenentleerungsstörungen (nächtlicher Harndrang, plötzlicher Harndrang bei
Kälte oder Nässe).

Hep.: abszedierender Entzündung (+ SCHMERZ/Kälteempfindlichkeit, ins Skrotum und die

Oberschenkel ausstrahlende Schmerzen und evtl. ein Pulsieren des Skrotums vorliegen.
Beschwerden nach Alkoholgenuss o. <: Hep. Sulph. Puls. Nux-v. Calc. Merc.

Nux-v.: zeigt darüber hinaus große Kälteempfindlichkeit, krampfartige, einschnürende Schmerzen

von Blase (vor, während und nach der Miktion), Urethra

(mit evtl. Blutung) und Samenstrang.

Merc.: wichtigste Mittel, wenn die Ejakulation blutig ist. Nächtlicher Harndrang, dicke grünliche
oder gelbe urethrale Absonderungen treten genauso auf wie stechende Schmerzen in der
gesamten Harnröhre ziehend.

Thuj.: [Schweiß im Genitalbereich, ein übel riechendes Ejakulat sowie viele Störungen des
Harnflusses (Tröpfeln vor und nach der Miktion, unvollständige Harnentleerung, Miktion in
mehreren Portionen usw.)] und Dig. (Prostataschmerz im Sitzen, häufigen Harndrang nachts,
tröpfelnde Miktion, unfreiwilligen Urinverlust bei hinausgezögertem Harndrang, Engegefühl der
Harnröhre mit Restharngefühl sowie evtl. die seltene Empfindung des Pulsierens der Prostata).

Staph.: Schmerzverschlimmerung fahren oder reitend; Blasensymptome (Dysurie, unfreiwillige

Harnentleerung u. v. m.) sind vorrangig; Folgen von Kummer, Entrüstung, Zorn; im urologischen
Fachbereich findet sich meist ein zurückliegender, als Prostata, sowie eine Blasenlähmung mit
Besserung im Stehen auf.

Puls.: Hitze in der Prostata, Drücken oder Stechen nach der Harnentleerung, Kribbeln in der
Harnröhre mit Hämaturie sowie Hodenschmerzen abends oder im Sitzen.

Sil.: A. Starke Kälteempfindlichkeit; die Prostata ist hart, am Hoden wird ein drückender oder
bohrender Schmerz, auch wie gequetscht, empfunden; die Miktion macht meist keine Probleme.

Nit-ac.: Kälte und Krämpfe der Harnröhre sowie Splitterschmerz von Prostata und Harnröhre,
Blasensymptome sind seltener.
Med.: Sykotischen Merkmalen (Folgen unterdrückter Gonorrhoe) ist evtl. angezeigt, vor allem,
wenn chronischer Ausfluß besteht; auch Auffälligkeiten im Ejakulat (wässrig, dick, faden)

immer wieder jedoch stößt der aufmerksame Zuhörer auf eigentümliche Symptome, die im
Vorfeld der Erkrankung über längere Zeit bestanden haben, z B. uncharakteristische
Hodenschmerzen, Erektionsstörungen, Leistenbeschwerden, eine Prostatitis oder evtl. auch eine
Periproktitis. Man hat den Eindruck, dass der Körper sehr wohl auf die Karzinomerkrankung
hinweist, aber nur zu uncharakteristischer Symptomenproduktion in der Lage ist.

Natürlich ist auch hier eine ganzheitliche Anamnese obligat; Krankheitsursachen im

homöopathischen Sinn können die gleichen sein wie beim Prostataadenom aufgeführt.

Prostatakarzinom

Die Problematik der homöopathischen Behandlung einer Karzinomerkrankung ist jedem

verantwortungsvoll handelndem Arzt bewusst. Wenn nach Erhebung und Interpretation der
Voruntersuchungen (Staging) eine Kuration des Leidens erreicht werden kann, so muss der
Schulmedizin Vorrang gegenüber der Homöopathie eingeräumt werden. Sollte der Patient dies
ablehnen, so müssen gewichtige individuelle Gründe vorliegen, die dies rechtfertigen. Der Patient
muss über die Tragweite seiner Entscheidung ausführlich aufgeklärt werden.

Das Prostatakarzinom nimmt jedoch aus mehreren Gründen unter den Karzinomerkrankungen
eine besondere Stellung ein. Da bekannt ist, dass viele Männer mit Prostatakarzinom leben ohne
jemals ziehende Schmerzen im Gehen oder Sitzen. Außer gewaltsamer anfallsartiger
Harnentleerung tritt kaum eine Begleitsymptomatik auf.

Sabal serrulata ist hilfreich bei chronischer Entzündung und Prostatahypertrophie mit
brennendem Samenerguß, Kältegefühl der Blase, tröpfelnder oder verzögerter Blasenentleerung
und häufigem nächtlichen Harndrang mit uncharakteristischen Schmerzen im Schambereich.

Prostataadenom

Das Prostataadenom ist die letztlich ätiologisch noch nicht geklärte Vergrößerung der
periurethralen Drüsen der Prostata. Es entwickelt sich schleichend, d. h. meist im Laufe von vielen
Jahren allmählich schlechter werdend, eine Dysurie mit Pollakisurie, imperativem Harndrang,
Harnstrahlabschwächung,

Nachtröpfeln des Urins, unvollständiger Harnentleerung, Nykturie und ähnlichen Symptomen.

Da die Krankheit bereits über das Stadium der Regulationsstörung hinausgeht und bereits zu
strukturellen Veränderungen des Organs führt, stellt die homöopathische Behandlung eine
besondere Herausforderung an den Therapeuten dar. Erfahrungsgemäß ist die Verkleinerung
eines Prostataadenoms mit homöopathischen Mitteln eine schwierige Aufgabe. Es ist daher
bereits als Erfolg zu werten, wenn das Größenwachstum der Prostata zum Stillstand kommt, die
subjektiv wahrgenommenen Beschwerden weniger werden und damit die Lebensqualität steigt.

Eine ganzheitliche homöopathische Anamnese nach klassischen Gesichtspunkten ist unerlässlich,

insbesondere da die Repertoriumsrubriken der typischen Symptome (Blase: krankhafter
Harndrang; Harndrang plötzlich / muss sich beeilen zur Harnentleerung; Harnentleerung
unvollständig / tröpfelnd; tröpfeln nach Harnentleerung / verzögert / häufig nachts / schwacher

Im Beispielfall wurde Mercurius u.a. verordnet wegen der Prostata Entzündung, sehr starker

"Prostate is a King gland because queens do not have it. It is a proprietary providence of male's
prowess to be called a Turash'.

Many aged patients having prostate complaints coming. Before reading this article, they never
thought of the existence of this gland and they always held kidneys responsible for their urine
problems.

The fact is that more than seventy 5% our male population lives in rural areas and most of them
do not know about the names of glands like Prostate. This is unfortunate that people are trained
to earn livelihood, trained to keep good health, trained to keep off vices but not trained to know
their body parts. Parents tell their children to take milk, butter, ghee or non-vegetari an meals and
also about exercise but no one tells them about working of our body. Imparting this knowledge is
left to the school teachers. If a student learns something about human body during his study
course, prostate does not come up in the primary functioning of body until there is a higher study
of medicine.

Even if people are told about the prostate and its connection with sexual activity, they would
resort to celibacy or avoid sex rather than going in for treatment or operation.

For them, anything connected with urine problems is due to less intake of water or 'Lassi' or
'Chhachh'. In big cities and towns where people are better educated, they are aware of prostate
problems but still they avoid its operation, thinking that it is a symbol of their existing sexual
power, which they do not want to part with.

In the name of psycho-analysis (Freud), many doctors say that sexual activity entertains mind and
dissolves tensions. It is a materialistic view of modern era and has no scientific basis. Freud does
not say that one should indulge in sex only to entertain or erase tensions.

His saying is that it should not be suppressed. Indian people are traditionally bound to think that
conservation of semen through celibacy means prolonged life and youthfulness.

According to 'Vedas', loss of semen is death and its absorption in the body is life. We have two
types of secretions - internal and external. Some internal secretions, when absorbed in the body,
keep the body healthy and prolong longevity. Man can overcome old age diseases (prostate
enlargement or prostate cancer included) by preservation

of semen. By its loss, the life is shortened. When an old man, of say seventy years, indulges in
prolonged sexual act, his blood pressure increases and when it is difficult

to cope up with this increased pressure, it ends in paralysis or brain hemorrhage. This also means
that an old man indulging in sex is putting undue pressure on his prostate

for release of fluid. Where is the necessity to do so when the efficiency of prostate is on the
decline?

It is supposed to be left idle. Many doctors do not agree to this argument and say that prostate
must be kept active for prolonged life of the gland.

According to ancient Vedic system, the life of man is hundred years. At the age of fifty, he enters
'Vaanprastha ashram.'

After the age of fifty, no one should enter into sexual acts, if he desires to live up to one hundred

and way of life and adopt western materialism, thinking, eating habits

and their sex 'adventures' like anal/oral/unnatural sex?

Prostate is an organ that is most susceptible to cancer and no one knows when it develops and
when to start preventive treatment. No other human organ in .our body is

so much prone to cancer as is the prostate. In America, more than two lakh (= 2000) men fall
victim to prostate cancer each year.

About forty thousand men die of prostate cancer each year in America. When, in a country like
America, with advanced medical awareness among people has such a toll

of deaths, one can imagine the state of prostate cancer in India. How many Indian men die of
prostate cancer? There is no record about it because of lack of data and information fed to the
government hospitals. The facilities of curing prostate cancer or removal of gland in the villages
and small towns are missing and hence villagers die of cancer without any record of it in
dispensaries. Even if the facilities are made available one cannot educate the people on this aspect
overnight. In western countries, medical awareness is far superior to eastern countries. USA has
government and non-government organizations, which keep record, advise and console patients
of cancer, thyroid and prostate etc.

There is a practical problem in diagnosing prostate enlargement and cancer of prostate gland. By
the time, the symptoms appear, the gland is already enlarged or having carcinoma. The

scope for such an investigating tool that could serve the purpose of early diagnosis of this disease.

It is an accessory gland of the male reproductive system found only in some mammals. Only
mammals have prostates. By definition, only mammals have breasts, as well. Breasts and prostates
seem to have evolved on parallel tracks. The prostate first appeared in males when females
developed breasts and fed their children with breast milk.

Today, breast cancer and prostate cancer seem to be two sides of the same coin. Countries with
high rates of breast cancer tend to have high rates of prostate cancer.

Is the emergence of “masculinity in crisis” responsible for increase in prostrate related diseases
especially cancer of the prostate? Is the feminist movement responsible for females to be
masculine, given growing industrialization and  replacement of labour by technology and hence

A triangular body in male, the size and shape of a chestnut, that lies immediately in front of the
bladder with its apex directed down and forward. The prostatic portion of the urethra extends
through it, passing from the bladder to the penis.

This prostate contains 15–20 branched, tubular glands which form lobules. The gland ducts open
into the urethra. Between the gland clusters, or alveoli, there is a dense, fibrous connecting tissue,
the stroma, which also forms a tough capsule around the gland, continuous with the bladder wall.
Penetrating the prostate to empty into the urethra are the ejaculatory ducts from the seminal
vesicles which are located above and behind the organ. The prostatic gland secretes a viscid,
alkaline fluid which aids in sperm motility and in neutralizing the acidity of the vagina, thus
