Años atrás había un apuesto joven príncipe que vivía en un hermoso castillo pero era muy
egoísta y en su corazón no existía el amor. Una noche fría de navidad una anciana pobre
que toca a su puerta le pidió resguardo en su castillo a cambio de una rosa pero el príncipe
se lo negó. En aquel momento la anciana se reveló como una hermosa hechicera, que
sintiéndose ofendida por su despreciable forma de ser hechizó al príncipe y a quienes vivían
con él en el castillo. Al príncipe lo convirtió en una temible bestia y los sirvientes tomaron la
apariencia de objetos domésticos, como candelabros, armarios, pocillos etc.
La rosa que le ofreció era en realidad una rosa encantada que comenzaría a marchitarse
cuando él cumpliera los 21 años, solo si el príncipe aprendía a amar y a la vez conseguía
que alguien lo amara antes de que la rosa perdiera su último pétalo todo volvería a la
normalidad.
Bella es una joven que vive en un pueblo con su padre , un inventor al que muchos
consideran un anciano chiflado. Un día Maurice marcha a una feria de inventores, pero se
pierde en el camino y se resguarda en el castillo. Allí la bestia lo hace prisionero. Bella,
preocupada al ver que el caballo de su padre regresa sin él, sale en su busca. Al llegar al
castillo decide intercambiarse con su padre enfermo para salvarlo.
La bestia se enamoró a primera vista de Bella, pero su amor no era correspondido, Bella no
era feliz en el castillo y la bestia le daba mucho miedo.
Un día el padre de Bella enfermó y la Bestia la dejó libre con la esperanza de que ella
vuelva de forma voluntaria.
Pasaron los días y Bella no volvió.
La bestia enfermó, se le estaba acabando el tiempo.
Por otro lado Bella estaba muy feliz en su pueblo, ella se estaba enamorando de Gastón, un
chico que deseaba casarse con Bella desesperadamente.
Finalmente, la bestia murió por el hechizo de la bruja, mientras Bella era feliz en su pueblo
con su esposo Gastón.

boy who desperately wanted to marry Bella.
Finally, the beast died of the witch's spell, while Belle was happy in her town with her
husband Gastón.
