PRESENT SIMPLE
Welcome to this English activity designed to be carried out 100% from the comfort of your
homes. Read the instructions very well and make sure you follow them fully so that you can
approve your evidence.
OBJECTIVE: The objective of this activity is for the learner to use the PRESENT SIMPLE rules
correctly in written and oral form so that in the near future they can have the knowledge to
defend themselves in any real life situation.
INSTRUCCIONES:
1. Observe los videos sugeridos por el instructor y responda las siguientes preguntas:
1.1 ¿Para qué casos o situaciones se utiliza el Presente Simple?
Lo utilizamos para expresar acciones que realizamos, pero de forma frecuente, habitual, y las
expresamos en modo de información.
1.2 ¿Cuáles son las normas de la s-es-ies en el Presente Simple?
En el caso de las terceras personas en singular, He, She, It a la mayoría de los verbos se les
agrega S.
En el caso de las terceras personas en singular, He, She, It cuando el verbo termina en: o, s, sh,
ch, x o z se deber agregar es.
En el caso de las terceras personas en singular, He, She, It cuando el verbo termina en y y le
antecede una consonante, elimina la y y agrega una ies.
1.3 ¿Cuáles son los auxiliares del Presente Simple?
Son Do y Does.
1.4 ¿Cuál es la estructura para: AFIRMATIVO (De 5 ejemplos) NEGATIVO (De 5 ejemplos)
PREGUNTAS DE SI O NO (De 5 ejemplos y respuestas) PREGUNTAS DE WH (De 5 ejemplos y
respuestas)?
Afirmativa: Sujeto+ verbo+ complemento.
She lives with my brother.
He watches tv in my house.
It washes plates.
He studies Spanish.
She speaks English.
Negativa: Sujeto +auxiliar do/does not + verbo + complemento
I don’t work.
He doesn’t run.
She doesn’t dance.
We don’t walk.

Preguntas sí o no: Auxiliar do/does + sujeto + verbo + complemento.

3. ACTIVIDAD DE TRANSFERENCIA DE CONOCIMIENTO: Ahora que has aprendido como el Presente Simple en inglés es
hora de demostrar lo que eres capaz de hacer con lo que has aprendido!

los 10 items bien sea para afirmar, negar o preguntar usando el verbo entre paréntesis.
