Two Little Friends
Once upon a time, there were two little friends named Tommy and Jimmy who lived in
a town near the forest. They liked to play in the afternoons.
Tommy and Jimmy enjoyed going to the forest and walking to the river. Their parents
always told them “Be careful with the animals and do not get into the river
because it is dangerous.”
It was a very hot day, and the children were sitting next to the river, Jimmy told Tommy;
Wouldn't it be great to swim for a while and cool off? It would be fun, said Tommy.
