THE SEASONS-
Seasons are periods of the year with distinct weather conditions and day lenghts. The 4 seasons are: Winter,
spring, summer, autumn or fall; can vary significantly in characteristics and can prompt changes in the world
around them.
Many parts of the world have four seasons in a year. The weather is different during each season as the weather
changes plants, animals change too.
SPRING-
The weather begins to get warmer and the tres and other plants grow new leaves.
SUMMER-
It´s the hottest season and has long and sunny days. Mosto f the people go to the beach or swimming pools to
refresh and relax.
WINTER
It´s the coldest season. Many tres and smaller plants are bare and lie dormat, which means they are inactive. The
animals enter a Deep sleep called “HIBERNATION”. The days are shorter. You can disthinguish “Winter”; because
in some countries “snow” and also because we celebrate christmas during this season.
FALL or AUTUMN
The weather becomes mild and leaves start falling from many tres. The leaves turn red, Orange, yellow or Brown
before falling off. This season marks the transition from summer to Winter. The duration of daylight becomes
noticeably shorter.
LAS ESTACIONES DEL AÑO
Las estaciones son periodos del año con diferentes condiciones climáticas y periodos del dia. Las 4 estaciones son: invierno,
primavera, verano y otoño; pueden variar significativamente en características y promover cambios alrededor del mundo.
Muchas partes del mundo tienen 4 estaciones en un año. El clima es diferente durante cada estación ya que asi como el clima
cambia asi también lo hacen las plantas y los animales.
PRIMAVERA: El clima comienza a calentarse y los arboles y otras plantas empiezan a florecer y a crecer nuevas hojas.
VERANO: es la estación mas calurosa y tiene los días mas largos y soleados. La mayoría de las personas van a la playa o
piscinas a refrescarse y a relajarse.
INVIERNO: Es la estación mas fría. Muchos arboles y plantas pequeñas están sin movimiento es decir que están inactivas. Los
animales entran en un sueño profundo llamado “HIBERNACION”. Los días son mas cortos y puedes distinguir el INVIERNO;
porque en algunos países cae NIEVE y tambien porque celebramos NAVIDAD durante esta estación.
OTOÑO: el clima se pone un poco mas fresco o frio y las hojas comienzas a caerse de los arboles. Las hojas se vuelven rojas,
anaranjadas, amarillas o café antes de caerse. Esta estación marca la transición del verano al invierno. La duración de la luz
solar se vuelve mas corta.
