Nos encontramos en el Ciclo Orientado -módulos 6 y 7- después de un recorrido que nos permite
reconocer e interpretar textos donde, por ejemplo, se informe acerca de datos personales.

Para lograr estos objetivos incorporamos a nuestro vocabulario los números, el abecedario,
paises y nacionalidades, verbos que indican rutina, la hora, miembros de la familia, objetos personales,
verbos que expresan habilidades, las expresiones “there is/are”, verbos regulares e irregulares,
expresiones de tiempo pasado y vocabulario relacionado a vacaciones.
En los capítulos correspondientes a Producción e Interpretación de Textos – Lengua Extranjera:
Ingles correspondiente al Ciclo Orientado, módulos 6 y 7, encontraremos:

 Los objetivos a cumplir que nos permitirán saber concretamente que debemos lograr al
finalizar cada capítulo.

 Actividades variadas que implican que leamos, escuchemos, escribamos y hablemos.

LENGUA EXTRANJERA – INGLÉS

Estas actividades estan contextualizadas para facilitar su comprensión.

 Notas que dan pistas de como realizar/planificar/editar las producciones escritas y

orales o que nos hacen reflexionar acerca el lenguaje y la norma para luego ponerlo en
práctica a la hora de abordar una lectura o realizar una producción ya sea escrita u oral.

 Las soluciones de las actividades al final del capítulo, las cuales nos permitirá
autoevaluarnos y saber cuales son aquellas actividades que no comprendimos. Esto
también nos ayudará a asistir a las tutorías con dudas concretas.

En este capítulo de inglés aprenderemos a comprender y expresar acciones futuras.

Para poder lograr esto revisaremos y veremos nuevo vocabulario :
 Verbos
 Palabras/ expresiones relacionadas a vacaciones
 Palabras usadas en Carteles/ anuncios/ señales
 Expresiones de tiempo futuro

Asismismo, para poder interpretar y relatar eventos en futuro, trabajaremos con un tiempo
verbal “Futuro simple” (WILL y BE GOING TO)
“Will” lo usaremos para expresar probabilidades, predicciones y promesas.
“ Be going to” lo usaremos para expresar planes para el futuro.
LENGUA EXTRANJERA – INGLÉS

Interpretar y producir textos en futuro les puede parecer complejo pero recordemos, como ya lo
han podido observar en el trabajo de los otros módulos, que todo vocabulario nuevo o contenido
gramatical lo veremos en una determinada situación comunicatica y a su vez lo leeremos,
escucharemos y practicaremos gradualmente de manera oral y escrita.
¡Cuánto camino recorrido y nos encontramos en la recta final!
¿Cuánto hemos avanzado? ¿Qué hemos logrado?
Hemos leído, escuchado y producido oraciones, diálogos y textos breves brindando y solicitando
información personal, narrando nuestra rutina, actividades de tiempo libre y vacaciones pasadas,
describiendo nuestra familia, casa, barrio etc.
Para poder comprender textos escritos y orales, hemos leído y escuchado textos variados que

contextualizaron los contenidos lingüísticos y comunicativos de cada módulo y hemos observado el

funcionamiento de la lengua en sus diferentes niveles.

Veamos, entonces, cuándo y cómo usarlo.

¿Cuándo se usa el “be going to”?

Para hablar de planes futuro. Por ejemplo, planes de vacaciones o fin de semanas
próximos.
LENGUA EXTRANJERA – INGLÉS

¿Cómo se forman oraciones interrogativas?

Las preguntas se forman con el verbo BE (am / is / are dependiendo del sujeto a quien
nos estamos refiriendo) seguido por el SUJETO y luego GOING TO más el verbo en
INFINITIVO. Ejemplo:
Is she going to travel next week? : ¿Va a viajar ella la semana que viene?

Lo único que puede ir delante del verbo “be” es la palabra interrogativa que es
opcional de acuerdo a lo que quiera preguntar. Ejemplo:
Where are you going to travel next week? : ¿Dónde vas a viajar la semana que

¿Cómo se forman oraciones negativas?

Primero va el SUJETO seguido por el verbo BE negado (am not/ is not / are not) más

¿Cómo se forman oraciones afirmativas?

Primero va el SUJETO seguido por el verbo BE (am / is / are) más GOING TO y el verbo
en INFINITIVO. Ejemplo:
He is going to travel next week : Él va a viajar la semana que viene.

Por último, tenemos la respuestas cortas; es decir cuando respondo a una pregunta SI o NO

Las expresiones de tiempo futuro pueden ir al final de la oración o al principio cuando queremos
enfatizar el momento en el que algo sucederá. Nunca va en el medio de la oración. Ejemplo:

We are going to travel tomorrow: vamos a viajar mañana

Tomorrow, we are going to travel: Mañana, vamos a viajar

En el segundo caso “Tomorrow” va seguido por una coma. (énfasis)

Lo único que puede ir delante de WILL es una palabra interrogativa.

Primero va el SUJETO seguido por WILL pero negado (WILL NOT = WON´T) y el verbo
también va en INFINITIVO. Ejemplo:

Primero va el SUJETO, seguido por WILL más el verbo en INFINITIVO.

PROMESAS
Es mas común de lo que pensamos que hagamos promesas. Por ejemplo, prometemos llamar a un
amigo, hacer tareas, dejar hábitos, etc.
“Will” , como dijimos, se usa para expresar promesas. ¡Veamos algunos ejemplos!

A daughter promises to her mother. Hija promete a su madre.

I promise I will clean the house: Prometo que limpiaré la casa.
A son promises to his father. Hijo promete a su padre.
