Justificación del núcleo
El programa de inglés Plus Language by CEIPA se fundamenta en dos realidades: La primera es la necesidad y exigencia, no
sólo de la institución, sino además, y por sobre todo, de la sociedad, del mundo globalizado, de la comunidad CEIPA, y de sus
clientes corporativos, de garantizar profesionales competentes en una lengua extranjera, especialmente el inglés por ser el idioma
internacional, el de los negocios, el más usado entre profesionales y empresarios alrededor del mundo. La segunda, es que el
Gobierno Nacional y, especialmente el Ministerio de Educación, a través de diferentes decretos y leyes, han definido medidas
para que los establecimientos de educación superior y las instituciones de educación para el trabajo y el desarrollo humano
fortalezcan sus programas y cuenten con las políticas que le permitan a sus egresados adquirir las competencias necesarias en
una lengua extranjera como una necesidad en términos de competitividad personal, profesional, tecnológica, económica,
académica e investigativa.
Objetivo general del núcleo
Desarrollar programas de idiomas que le permitan a los estudiantes adquirir competencias para interactuar y ser competitivos en
un mundo globalizado.

Metodología
Nuestras clases de inglés de negocios están fundamentadas en el modelo pedagógico basado en núcleos problémicos y la
metodología CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) que hace referencia al aprendizaje de una segunda lengua con un
enfoque comunicativo que incluye interacción en una plataforma con tecnología de punta que permite al estudiante aprender de
manera pragmática a través del uso de materiales auténticos y semi-auténticos. La puesta en práctica de nuestras clases y video
conferencias está basada en los fundamentos del Learning by doing y elementos del método "Flipped Classroom".
