1 INTRODUCCIÓN
X EL PROYECTO
2 ALCANCE
El alcance del suministro incluye lo establecido en la siguiente requisición de una TANQUE
CONCENTRADOR DE LODOS (incluye garantía de desempeño, moto-reductor, pasarela, barandas, y
escaleras tipo GATO de acceso al techo) y en todos los documentos adjuntos, incluye el suministro,
diseño, provisión de materiales, fabricación, ensamble, inspección, pruebas, limpieza y pintura de los
equipos y repuestos a suministrar, documentación e instrumentación, para UN (1) TANQUE
CONCENTRADOR DE LODOS con capacidad de 4.7 m3.
3 DEFINICIONES
A continuación se describen algunos términos relacionados con los trabajos, tal y como se utilizan al interior
de este documento, sin perjuicio de las definiciones que difieran de las aquí dadas y que sean de uso
acostumbrado de ESENTTIA. Los términos que no se mencionen aquí, deben ser entendidos de acuerdo
con el sentido natural y según su uso en el lenguaje común o técnico, teniendo en cuenta el contexto del
contenido en el que se utilicen.
El Cliente y/o su representante ESENTTIA o cualquier compañía, empresa, unión temporal y/o persona
natural o jurídica a quien ESENTTIA autorice su representación en el proyecto.
El Oferente. Se refiere a la Compañía, empresa, unión temporal y/o persona natural o jurídica que presente
una oferta de servicios para ejecutar los trabajos de construcción considerados en el proyecto.
El Constructor. Es el oferente a quien se le adjudique la realización de las actividades de construcción
objeto de esta licitación. En caso de tener sub contratistas, sigue siendo responsable ante el Cliente y/o su
Representante por la adecuada ejecución de las actividades de todos y cada uno de ellos.
El Proveedor. Compañía, empresa, unión temporal y/o persona natural o jurídica que suministre algún
equipo, elemento, material o actividad requeridos en el proyecto
El Fabricante. Compañía, empresa, unión temporal y/o persona natural o jurídica que manufacture o
fabrique directamente cualquier equipo, elemento o material que se requiera en el proyecto

ITEM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Equipment shall be clearly identified and marked, before delivery. All items shall be identified indicating

as a minimum the purchase order, package number, item number, and drawing number

Bidder shall send procedures for the preservation of the items and equipment during the packing,

handling, shipment, transport, and storage. This shall be considered by the bidder in the proposal.
In the case of inconsistency between attached documents and/or the standards, the most stringent shall

apply. Bidder shall require the previous approval before of proceed.
All exceptions to this material requisition and attached documents shall be clearly specified and listed in
4
the proposal as “Exceptions list”.
5 All sharp edges shall be smooth. Mill scale shall be removed from all surfaces.
The equipment must be painted by the bidder in his workshop and before packing it, with the required 3

layers of protective coating to protect all surfaces and elements during shipment and storage.
7 All equipment shall be provided with lifting lugs or any other lifting accessories.
8 Bidder is responsible for protecting the threads from damage during shipment and handling.
All materials to be supplied shall be new, top quality, and recently made. They shall be free from any

defects or flaws and shall comply with the indicated classifications and classes.
Bidder shall submit with its proposal, the quality plan that intends to use during fabrication and
10
shipment.
Tests results shall be reported in a manner that provides full information about the compliance of the
11
tests with the applicable specifications of materials and equipment.
12 Similar parts shall be interchangeable and fabricated with the same dimensions and tolerances.
Bidder shall measure the thickness of, and perform adhesion tests on, the painted surfaces, and shall
13
forward the corresponding reports to the buyer.
Before beginning shipped, each equipment and/or part shall be marked and identified, and the bidder
14
shall forward to the buyer the shipping lists, with the name of each part shipped in each crate.
15 The English units system shall be used (Temperature (°F), pressure (psig, psia), length (ft, in), etc.)
16 Short term, temporary and long-term extended turndown shall be at 50% of unit design throughput.
Equipment shall be designed and suitable to site conditions, as indicated on pump specification,

document number AB-ET-M-004.
18 Equipment will be located and shall comply with electrical area classification Class 1, Div. 2 Gr. C & D.
19 Flanged connections shall be according to ASME B16.5.
Equipment containing parts which can be damaged by abnormal high temperature has to be designed
20
for this temperature.
Plant life is 20 years. Equipment shall comply with the most stringent requirement: 20 years of plant life
21
or the requirements of international standards.
22 Mechanical seals shall be selected and supplied entirely by the supplier, including API plan, all

mechanical and instrumentation components and enough barrier fluid for start up and first change
purposes. Mechanical seals shall be in accordance with API 675 last edition and API 682
Design and manufacturing shall be in accordance with the latest issue of the following standards and
codes:

Any other norm, standard or recommended practice emitted by these institutions and which be
applicable to supply shall be followed, although not be specifically mentioned.
ITEM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
24 Pumps in hydrocarbon and other severe services (HF acid, boiler feed water, etc.) shall be designed
and manufactured in conformance with API standard 676 last edition
25 Pump vendor is responsible for the supply and installation of the pure oil mist lubrication system per API
675 for all pumps and motors, using a microprocessing control device. The system shall have a backup
console of the same capacity of the main console. The mist generator shall be computerized type
applying vortex technology.
26 A life-cycle cost analysis shall be done for each rotating machinery and this analysis shall be part of the
vendor proposal
27 Design and manufacturing shall be based on international standards, norms, and codes and on
Colombian regulations.
28 Pumps shall be provided with a rigid and direct coupling (Thomas type).
29 Pumps shall be provided with insulation in expanded perlite and jacketed.
30 Specific suction speed NSS shall be less than 11000.
31 Difference between NPSHA and NPSHR shall be higher than 3 feet for the complete operating range.
32 Pump shall be designed to not require external cooling with water.
33 Pump shall permit ahead increase of 15% at rated conditions with a new impeller.
34 Electrical motor shall comply with the area classification class 1, div. 2 Gr. C & D, explosion proof type,
TEFC, NEMA 7 + 4X suitable for corrosive, tropical, saline and industrial acid gas atmosphere,
insulation class F, design NEMA B code letter E, power factor higher than 0.8 (inductive), NEMA
premium efficiency, outside location.
35 NEMA classification of enclosures for terminal boxes in electrical power shall be NEMA 7 + 4X
36 Electrical motors shall be:
0.0 hp to 1.0 hp: 120 v / 1 ph / 60 Hz
1.0 hp to 149 hp: 460 v / 3 ph / 60 Hz
150 hp and larger: 4000 v / 3 ph / 60 Hz.
37 Electrical motors shall have a service factor of 1.15, shall be direct starting, horizontal type, according to
with IEEE-841 and NEMA MG1. The noise level of 85 dBA maximum, two starts in cold.
38 Electrical motors shall be provided with RTD’s and space heaters (75-100 W)
