@® KI-WON INDUSTRIAL Co.,OPERATION
1.0pen the valves to enable the driving pump to suct water from the sea and
deliver overboard through the eductor.
[Link] the pump and regulate the pressure to obtain full capacity on the
eductor. The driving pressure varies with the total delivery head.
3.0pen the suction valve to eneble the eductor to suct from the desired
compartment . Please open the suction valve after the driving pump has
necessary pressure to prevent rater from entering the tank via the eductor
at low driving pressure. For the same reason the suction valves aust be
closed before shutting down the driving pump.
4. The eductor can be used as an ordinary vacuum cleaner or stripping system by
using of suction hose.
[Link] suction capacity will not increase above the maximum by using higher
prescure than required, However the driving pressure is loner than
specified, the capacity will drop radically. So please use someshat higher
driving pressure than speci fied.
[Link] operation it is advisable to lower the eductor as fer as practically,
as the suction capacity is reduced at suction head higher than specified.MAINTENANCE and TROUBLE SHOOTING
1, CLOGGED NOZZLE OR THROAT
The gost common cause of trouble is restriction of liquid flow in the nozzle or
throat. Particles lodged in the throat or nozzle may be removed with @ probe of
wood or other material thet will not gouge the eductor, Solids deposited on the
nozzle or throat to be removed, Special WATER EDUCTOR of one piece construction
nay require chenical cleaning of inaccessible areas.
[Link] MOTIVE PRESSURE
Notive pressure lower than specified will result in a loss of capacity and may
even cause back flow,
[Link] BACK PRESSURE
If the water eductor has a higher back pressure than that for which it was
designed,a loss in a capacity will result, This can be overcome by using sore
motive liquid, i.e,higher motive pressure.
