DTC P2228
DTC P2228 Entrada baja del circuito del sensor BARO
PCM monitorea el voltaje de entrada del sensor BARO. Si el voltaje de entrada en el
terminal 1AG del PCM es inferior a 1,99 V , el PCM determina el circuito del sensor
BARO tiene un mal funcionamiento.
Nota de soporte de diagnóstico
Este es un monitor continuo (CCM).
CONDICION
DE MIL se ilumina si el PCM detecta la condición de mal funcionamiento anterior durante
DETECCION el primer ciclo de manejo.
El CÓDIGO PENDIENTE está disponible si PCM detecta la condición de mal
funcionamiento anterior.
CONGELAR DATOS DEL MARCO está disponible.
DTC se almacena en la memoria PCM.
Mal funcionamiento del sensor BARO
Conector o mal funcionamiento del terminal
Cortocircuito a tierra en el cableado entre el terminal A del sensor BARO y el
CAUSA
terminal 1AG del PCM
POSIBLE
Circuito abierto en el cableado entre el terminal C del sensor BARO y el terminal 1AE
del PCM

Procedimiento de diagnóstico
PASO INSPECCIÓN ACCIÓN
VERIFIQUE LOS DATOS DEL MARCO CONGELADO SE
1 HAN GRABADO Si Vaya al siguiente paso.
¿Se han grabado los DATOS DEL
MARCO CONGELADO? No Registre los DATOS DEL MARCO CONGELADO en la
orden de reparación, luego vaya al siguiente paso.
VERIFICAR LA DISPONIBILIDAD DE INFORMACIÓN
2 RELACIONADA DE REPARACIÓN Si Realice la reparación o el diagnóstico de acuerdo
con la información de reparación disponible.

relacionados y / o la disponibilidad de Si el vehículo no se repara, vaya al

¿Hay alguna información de
reparación relacionada disponible? No Vaya al siguiente paso.
INSPECCIONE LA CONEXIÓN DEL CONECTOR SENSOR
3 BARO Sí Vaya al siguiente paso.
Apague el interruptor de encendido.
Verifique que el conector del sensor No Vuelva a conectar el conector, luego vaya al Paso
BARO esté bien conectado. 9.
¿Está bien la conexión?
INSPECCIONE EL CONECTOR DEL SENSOR BARO
4 4 PARA UNA CONEXIÓN POBRE Sí Repare o reemplace la terminal, luego vaya al Paso
8.
Desconecte el conector del sensor
BARO.

Inspeccione la conexión deficiente No Vaya al siguiente paso.

corrosión, etc.).
¿Hay algún mal funcionamiento?
INSPECT BARO SENSOR MALFUNCTION
55 YesGo to the next step.
Inspect the BARO sensor.
(See BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO)
SENSOR INSPECTION.) No Replace the BARO sensor, then go to Step 9.
Is the BARO sensor okay?
INSPECT POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT VOLTAGE AT BARO
6 SENSOR CONNECTOR YesGo to the next step.
NOTE:
If DTCs P0107 and P0122 are also No Inspect for open circuit between PCM terminal 1AE
retrieved with P2228, go to (wiring harness-side) and BARO sensor terminal C

Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the PCM connector.
Inspect for continuity between BARO
sensor terminal A (wiring harness-
side) and body ground. No Go to the next step.
Is there continuity?
INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR FOR POOR CONNECTION
8 YesRepair the terminal, then go to Step 9.
Disconnect the PCM connector.
Inspect for poor connection at
terminals (damaged/pulled-out pins,
corrosion, etc.). No Go to the next step.
Is there any malfunction?
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P2228
9 COMPLETED YesReplace the PCM, then go to the next step.
Make sure to reconnect all (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position (Engine off).
Clear the DTC from the PCM memory
using the WDS or equivalent.
No No concern is detected. Go to the next step.
Start the engine.
Is the same DTC present?
VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE

10 Perform “AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE”. YesGo to applicable DTC inspection.

Is there any DTC present?
No Troubleshooting completed.
