Revista internacional de Arte - Cultura - Gnosis
PRESENTACION
La Revista SYMBOLOS aparece desde 1991 siendo su ámbito el de la lengua castellana.
Con distribución en España, Mesoamérica y Cono Sur americano, hasta el presente ha
editado más de tres mil páginas. Si bien la revista asume la idea de una Tradición
primigenia y universal de la que las distintas tradiciones han derivado, sin embargo su
vinculación más específica es con la Tradición Hermética, como exponente de lo que es
Occidente, manifestado en el Platonismo y Neoplatonismo, la Aritmosofía Pitagórica, la
Ciencia y el Arte de Construir, Alquimia, Cábala cristiana, etc. Todos estos elementos
constituyen la Ciencia Sagrada que ha sido conocida por todas las Tradiciones, inclusive las
más arcaicas y las hoy llamadas primitivas, las cuales establecen un vínculo con lo que ellas
manifiestan, mediante una hermenéutica, o una didáctica que va revelando al Símbolo a
distintos niveles de lectura sucesivos, pues todos estos métodos tienen a la Vía Simbólica y
al Símbolo, siempre plurivalente, como el lenguaje adecuado para encarar la posibilidad del
Conocimiento. Creemos que la vocación de internauta y el mismo sistema Internet en el
que nos estamos expresando constituyen posibilidades para la navegación y la aventura en
el Mundo del Conocimiento. Enhorabuena a aquellos que se han decidido a transponer el
umbral.
Deseamos aclarar que la Revista SYMBOLOS no tiene nada que ver con ninguna religión o
secta de cualquier tipo ni responde a ninguna ideología. Estamos incluyendo todo lo
aparecido hasta ahora en nuestra versión impresa. Igualmente construyendo un índice
temático donde los interesados podrán consultar directamente sin seguir la secuencia
temporal en que fueron publicados. Asimismo otros materiales se irán construyendo
paulatinamente, incluyendo grabados.
Por otra parte, al estar periódicamente renovándose, la página de SYMBOLOS también
estará en permanente construcción.
COLABORADORES
Dirigida por Federico González, los colaboradores habituales se reconocerán por su firma
en los artículos. Ellos constituyen un grupo que cuando apareció el primer número de la
revista hacía once años que trabajaba conjuntamente. Destacar su individualidad aquí sería
improcedente pues tanto unos como otros compartimos el mismo punto de vista y análogas
fuentes. También SYMBOLOS ha publicado desde el comienzo a autores invitados en una
amplia gama de pensamiento y diversas perspectivas. No podemos reproducir aquí todos
sus generosos artículos que tanto enriquecieron a nuestra publicación. Lo mismo sucede
con una parte de nuestras secciones fijas, que también han debido ser sacrificadas; empero,
en cada nueva actualización se irá agregando material que no ha aparecido en SYMBOLOS
impresa.
