NOTAS PARA EL DISEÑO DE ESCENOGRAFÍAS

En las nuevas producciones se han de mantener unos requisitos mínimos de diseño

que permitan su alternancia con otros espectáculos y su almacenaje. A la hora de la
construcción se tendrán en cuenta las normas de seguridad.

La altura máxima del decorado ha de ser de 11 metros para el movimiento en el

escenario, y para poder almacenar en contra chácena debe tener desmontables los 2
metros superiores.

Las medidas de carga nunca serán mayores de 2,20 m. de alto x 2,20 m. de ancho.
Así mismo el largo no podrá ser superior a 5 m.

Todos los elementos deben entrar dentro de las 4 plataformas del set, 17,80 metros de
ancho y 13,90 metros de profundidad. Se podrá sobrepasar la medida de profundidad
hasta una plataforma más, pero siendo un elemento con carra que permita su
desplazamiento independiente.

Los elementos colgados de las varas deberán ser lo más planos posibles para facilitar
su movimiento.

Ningún elemento debe interferir en la bajada del telón cortafuegos.

El cambio de producción se debe poder realizar en un máximo de 5 horas.

Set Designing Guidelines

With the aim of hosting and storaging different productions during the same period of
time, the set design of the new productions at the Teatro Real should accomplish at
least the following requirements:

The top height for the set should be 11 metres to enable movements on the stage. The
2 upper metres of the set should be detachable to enable storage downstage.

The items’ measures cannot exceed 2.20 metres height x 2.20 metres width to be
loaded. They cannot exceed 5 metres long either.

All elements should fit within the 4 platforms: 17.80 metres wide and 13.90 metres
deep. The set will be permitted to go beyond in depth one platform more, however this
element needs to be moved independently on wagons.

All elements hung from bars should be as flat as possible to ease movements.

No elements will be allowed to get in the way of the fire curtain.

Productions must be changed in no more than 5 hours.

NORMAS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL ÁREA TÉCNICA

Caja Escénica

Se evitará la estancia en el escenario a lo estrictamente necesario, y siempre bajo las

órdenes del Regidor durante los ensayos y funciones, del Jefe de Escenario o del
Responsable de la Oficina Técnica durante los montajes.

Es obligatorio respetar las medidas de seguridad, como cintas de bloqueo de paso, así
como atender las señales ópticas y acústicas que avisan de los movimientos de
plataformas y varas.

Está terminantemente prohibido realizar cualquier actividad que pueda producir fuego.

Se prohíbe cualquier tipo de comida o bebida en la caja escénica.

No se permite dejar en el escenario objetos personales (bolsos, prendas de abrigo,

toallas, etc.)

Se exige absoluto silencio durante los ensayos y representaciones.

A partir de la entrada de público para las funciones no se podrá realizar ningún tipo de
actividad en el escenario.

Entradas de Acceso a Escenario

No pasar cuando están las cintas de bloqueo de las puertas colocadas. Significa que
se está haciendo algún movimiento escénico y queda restringido el paso.

Megafonía

Los avisos los dan los regidores sean de la Compañía invitada o de la casa. Sólo tiene
uso escénico.

Regiduría

Los regidores responsables de cada función indican al resto de los departamentos los
cambios que se producen tanto de movimientos como de iluminación a través de un
sistema de TOPS. Cada top, denominado numéricamente y en orden correlativo marca
un cambio.

Ascensores

Quedarán bloqueados los ascensores de ambos lados sin parar en la planta cero
durante las funciones y en los ensayos pregeneral y general.

Iluminación

Se prohíbe el paso a la cabina de Iluminación a toda aquella persona que no vaya a

operar con la mesa.

Durante los ensayos efectuados con TOPS no se graba.

Audiovisuales

Se prohíbe la entrada a las cabinas tanto de audio como de vídeo.

El uso de aparatos inalámbricos queda restringido dentro del área escénica, ya que su
uso puede afectar al funcionamiento del sistema instalado en el Teatro.

Si el uso de dichos aparatos se aprueba, es necesario que consulten al Departamento

de Audiovisuales para que les informe en qué frecuencia pueden trabajar.

Sastrería

El personal de este Departamento no se hace cargo de la limpieza o planchado de

prendas que no correspondan al espectáculo.

Se prohíbe bajar a la cantina con el vestuario.

Technical Area Regulation

Scenic Box

Access to the stage will be strictly restricted. During rehearsals and performances
access will need to be allowed by the Stage Manager and during the setting up it will
need to be allowed by the Technical Stage Manager or the Responsible person of the
Technical Office.

It is mandatory to respect the security measures like: “do not cross sign”, acoustic and
warning lights to alert when fly bars and platforms are going to be moved.

It is prohibited to make fire or any action that may produce it.

It is prohibited to bring drinks or food into the scenic box.

It is not allowed to leave any personal belongings on the stage (such as purses, coats,
towels, etc).

During rehearsals and performances it is absolutely necessary to keep silence.

As soon as the public entrance call is made none activity is allowed on the stage.

Entrance to Stage
Entrance is not allowed when “do not enter” signs are placed on gates.
It means that any movement is being made on the stage and therefore the entrance is
not permitted.

Public Address System

Calls are given by the guest Company’s stage manager or by the in House’s stage
manager. It is intended for stage purposes only.
Stage Management
The stage manager responsible for each performance will inform the different
departments on the movements and lighting changes through a system of “TOPS”.
Each TOP is numbered in correlative order to indicate a change.

Elevators
Lifts located on both sides of the stage will not stop on the ground floor (0) during
performances and pre-general and general Rehearsals.

Lighting Requirements
Access to the lighting booth will only be permitted to the technician in charge of
operating the lighting desk.

Rehearsals conducted with TOPS will not be recorded.

Audiovisual Requirements
Access to video and audio booths is not permitted.

The use of wireless devices is restricted to the scenic area since its use can interfere
with the functioning of the in house system.

If the use of such devices is allowed it is necessary to ask the Audiovisual department
so that a frequency band is assigned.

Costume Requirements
The technicians from the Costume Department will not be responsible for cleaning or
ironing costumes not belonging to the production.

It is not permitted to go to the canteen with costumes

Loading Area

Existen dos plataformas, para elevar el camión y descargar a cota de escenario, con
una carga máxima de 30.000 Kg. y unas medidas de 3,00x17,50 m., y otra plataforma
con una carga máxima de 5.000 Kg. y unas medidas de 3,25x6,70 m. para acceso del
material a los almacenes de niveles inferiores.
La medida de la entrada de camiones es de 3,15x4,40h m.

There are two lifts which can load up to 30.000 Kg and lift the trucks to stage floor
level. Their measurements are 3.00x17.50 m. There is an extra lift able to load up to
5.000 Kg and its measures are 3.25x6.70 m. This extra lift has access to the level
storage rooms.
The trucks entrance measures are 3.15x4.40h m.

ILUMINACIÓN
Lights

La cabina de iluminación está situada en la planta +2. Se puede iluminar desde

cualquier vara, ya que todas tienen la posibilidad de ser electrificadas, y desde el
puente situado en la embocadura. Para iluminar desde la sala existen anillos en cada
planta, además de huecos en el techo y en el proscenio.

The lighting control booth is placed on 2nd floor. It is possible to light from any fly bar,
as all of them have electricity and from the lighting bridge placed at the forestage.
There are rings in every floor, as well as place at the roof and proscenium, to light from
the auditorium.
