Caractersticas Generales / General Features
SIGAS, es un sistema de inyeccin de gas secuencial multipunto, apto para motores hasta 4 cilindros. Esta integrado por distintos componentes que son comandados por una Unidad de Control Electrnico, sus caractersticas ms destacables son: - Mantiene la performance original del vehculo funcionando a nafta, no se coloca ningn tipo de restriccin en la entrada de aire, como los mezcladores usados en conversiones de generaciones anteriores. - El gas es inyectado en la misma forma que lo hace la unidad de control original del vehculo, utiliza un inyector por cada cilindro, ubicados prximo a la vlvula de admisin. - La unidad SIGAS lee los tiempos de inyeccin calculados por la unidad de control original, aplica las correcciones necesarias para el nuevo combustible, GNC / GLP , y activa los inyectores. Esto hace que el funcionamiento sea similar al programado por el fabricante del vehculo. - Elimina definitivamente el riesgo de contra explosiones, presente en todos los sistemas de generaciones anteriores. Esto es especialmente importante en colectores de admisin plsticos. - Evita que la unidad de control original modifique sus parmetros de funcionamiento durante la marcha con gas, originando problemas al retornar a nafta. - La unidad SIGAS es programada y monitoreada desde una PC o una Terminal PTA105, tambin es posible realizar un registro de operacin para verificar su funcionamiento y detectar cualquier anomala. Expansor SIGAS, permite ampliar el sistema SiGas para motores hasta 8 cilindros en forma rpida y eficiente, solo deben conectarse los inyectores y la comunicacin entre el SIGAS y el Expansor.
SIGAS is a sequential gas multipoint injection system appropriate for up to 4 cylinder engines. It is made up by many components commanded by an Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The main features of this system are: - It keeps the original performance of the vehicle when it is fuel run, there is no need to fit any type of air inlet restriction, like the mixers used in gas conversion systems from previous generations. - Gas is injected the same way injection takes place in the original control unit of the vehicle, using and injector for each cylinder, placed close to the inlet admission valve. - The SIGAS unit reads the injection times calculated for the original control unit, applies the necessary corrections for the new fuel, CNG / LPG, and it activates the injectors. This feature makes the performance similar to the one programmed by the vehicle manufacturer. - It definitely eliminates the backfire, which was present in all the systems of previous generations. This is especially important for plastic inlet collectors. - It avoids the operation parameter modification of the original control unit during gas operation, which causes problems when switched back to gasoline. - The SIGAS unit is programmed and monitored from a PC or PTA105 Terminal, it is also possible to have an operation log to check the operation and to detect any faults. SIGAS Expander allows the quick and efficient SIGAS system expansion for up to 8 cylinder engines, the only action needed is to connect the injectors and the communication between SIGAS and the expander.
