CRAWLWP SEO: WordPress SEO & Indexing Tool

Boost and monitor your WordPress site’s visibility on Google, Bing, Yandex, Naver, Yep, and Seznam.cz with automatic indexing and SEO insights.

CrawlWP is a WordPress SEO plugin for faster search engine indexing and comprehensive SEO insights, ensuring your WordPress content gets indexed instantly across major search engines (Google, Microsoft Bing, Yandex, Naver, Yep, Seznam.cz) and tracking your SEO performance in real-time.

Website | Documentation | Support

CrawlWP instantly notifies search engines whenever your website content is created, updated, or deleted, ensuring that search engines always have the latest updates about your WordPress site.

How CrawlWP SEO Indexing Works

CrawlWP integrates with IndexNow protocol to submit your WordPress posts and content to Microsoft Bing, Naver, Seznam.cz, Yandex, Yep.

Because Google does not support the IndexNow protocol, CrawlWP integrates with Google Indexing API to directly submit WordPress posts for indexing.

It also integrates with Bing URL Submission and Yandex APIs for submitting WordPress content for indexing. You might not need to configure and use the direct Bing and Yandex API integration for indexing since they both already support the IndexNow protocol.

🤖 What is IndexNow?

IndexNow is a protocol that allows website owners to promptly notify search engines about content changes, such as new, updated, or deleted URLs. It is a collaborative effort among several search engines (Bing, Naver, Seznam.cz, Yandex, Yep), enabling them to share received URLs with one another.

Core Features

  • Instant Indexing: Automatically submit your WordPress content to Google, Bing, and Yandex for immediate indexing after publication.
  • Indexing on Content Change: Request indexing from Google, Bing, Yandex, and other search engines when contents (post, page, custom post types) are updated in WordPress.
  • Multi-Search Engine Support: Compatible with Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Yandex Webmaster.
  • Automated Submissions: New WordPress content is automatically submitted for indexing.

FAQ

How quickly will my content be indexed?

While CrawlWP submits your content instantly, the actual indexing time depends on each search engine. However, using CrawlWP significantly speeds up the discovery and indexing process.

Is using the Google Indexing API recommended?

Google recommends explicitly using the Indexing API for job posting and live streaming websites; however, it can be utilized for any website.

Please note that submitting content via IndexNow protocol or using the Bing and Yandex API in CrawlWP is entirely safe and recommended.

I submitted a URL but didn’t see the URL indexed.

Waiting for your pages to get indexed can be anxious, but CrawlWP helps speed up this process. Based on our experience, pages usually get indexed within 24 hours of submission, often within a few hours. However, search engines (Google, Microsoft Bing, Yandex, etc) ultimately control the exact timing.

Why do I not see all the URLs submitted indexed by search engines?

Search engines can choose not to crawl and index URLs if they do not meet their selection criteria.

Can I submit the same URL many times a day?

Avoid submitting the same URL many times a day.

Can I submit new redirects?

Yes, you can submit URLs newly redirecting (for example, 301 redirect, 302 redirect, HTML with meta refresh tag, etc.) to notify search engines that the content has changed.

I received an HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response from one Search Engine. What should I do?

Such HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response status code indicates you are sending too many requests in a given time. Slow down or retry later.

I have a sitemap. Do I need CrawlWP Indexing?

Sitemaps help webmasters inform search engines about their WordPress pages, but search engines don’t visit them often. With CrawlWP integration with IndexNow and the Indexing API of search engines, you can directly notify search engines of new content without waiting for them to crawl your sitemaps.

The plugin simply works as expected, it will help you to index easily and fast, plus it will keep track of the new pages to be indexed, so it’ll be on autopilot. I recommend it, it is not a FULL SEO solution, but does exactly what is says and does it well with no bells and whistles. Well done!

My unfamiliarity with this field may make this my fault, but after following the instructions to the best of my understanding, I was unable to enable the Google Instant Indexing API to request indexing. I feel like the instructions need additional clarity, and they are otherwise filled with grammatical errors. The lack of feedback within the plugin itself does not inspire confidence in myself, either. To give some examples, I was following the "Integrating WordPress with Google Search API" article first and reached this section: "Save the content of the JSON file that was downloaded to your computer in the “Google JSON Key” textarea." What does that mean? What content? There is no way on the Google API page to upload a .JSON file. Am I supposed to open the .JSON file with something? With what? I just guessed to open it with Chrome, and I copied and pasted everything into the "Google JSON Key" field. I clicked save, and… did it work? There’s no notification telling me that I entered the correct or incorrect information. I look around to see a list of my pages where I can request indexing, and find nothing. My conclusion is that I must have entered the wrong text. Again, I can only guess at what text CrawlWP actually wants. I put it off for now. I thought that maybe I’m not seeing results because of not having my Google Verification Code in the "Core" tab set. I then follow the "How to Verify Your Website with Google Search Console" article. There’s an immediate snag: I have already claimed my domain as a property, and at that time I used my domain name provider as the verification method. What am I expected to do in this case? The article doesn’t say anything. Do I delete the property and claim it all over again so that I can use a different verification method? That could cause a ton of problems, so I assume not. I would think I could choose multiple verification methods for one property, but for whatever reason, Google does not allow this. "Ownership verification" under "settings" only has a "learn more" link. There are no options to use different methods for already-verified properties. I tried to find if there was any way I could get the HTML tag CrawlWP wanted, but every search result assumes you’re verifying a property for the first time. After blindly messing around for a while further, I threw my hands up. I could not find any indication if I was doing anything correctly, if CrawlWP was doing anything for my site, or what to do for the issues I mentioned above. While troubleshooting, I navigated to the plug-in’s "SEO Indexing" and "SEO Stats" tabs, only to have the premium version advertised to me each time. Do I need the premium version to do any index requests with Google? If that’s the case, then why is the free version even allowing me to do setup for it? Those tabs should be disabled with an explanation that they have no functionality for the free version. And if I need the premium version, then what is the free version even doing for me? Why even have it? I’m not seeing statistics on my site, a way to submit indexing, or anything. It’s completely empty, and I don’t even know if it’s because I’m doing something wrong or because I don’t have premium. Nothing is communicated well. Sorry for the lengthy rant and any personal incompetence, but I feel like at least some of what I’m asking for is reasonable user feedback that most UIs would have. The reviews for this plug-in are entirely positive with the exception of one 3-star rating where two other users also claimed to be struggling with Google integration. It appears as though they were never helped. If nothing else, I hope this review makes other confused users feel like they’re not alone.

One of best Indexing tools on the marketplace. Had Rank Math: Instant Indexing, but broken. This is lightyears ahead (I’m talking about paid version as it was 1000% worth it, since there’s no compromise when it comes over having your pages/posts indexed by google). Love this!!!!
