Epson Customer Participation is an optional utility from SEIKO EPSON Corporation designed to help improve Epson printers, scanners, and related software. When enabled, it collects usage and diagnostic information—such as device model, system environment, feature usage, and error reports—and sends it to Epson for analysis. This data is used to enhance reliability, refine features, and guide future updates.

Participation is voluntary and can be changed at any time through Epson software settings. Opting out does not affect your device’s core functionality. Data handling follows Epson’s applicable privacy policy and regional regulations. The utility runs quietly in the background with minimal impact on system performance and network bandwidth and is often installed alongside Epson drivers or Epson Software Updater.

Epson Customer Participation is developed by SEIKO EPSON Corporation and is used by 970 users of Software Informer. The names of program executable files are E_SAG4ST.EXE, mep.exe, E_IARNCLA.EXE, E_IARNBUA.EXE and E_GUPA30.EXE. This particular product is not fit to be reviewed by our informers.

You can check EPSON Scan OCR Component, EPSON PRINT Image Framer Tool, EPSON Scan Tool Light and other related programs like EPSON Drivers Update Utility at the "download" section.

I am very unhappy with my Epson all in one printer. I needed the scanner mostly but it is a pain to use, it makes you go through so much trouble shooting every time I use it. it does not speak in normal terms as a scanner. Most scanners I have used, ie hp and professional scanners, are simple in their layout to scan but Epson's scanner page is not end user friendly and it has errors so often I don't even use it except in desperate situation. I have so many problems with the help desk not wanting to trouble shoot the problem. I don't even want to call them anymore. Its still in fairly new condition and I am tempted to throw it away. except that I invested in extra ink so I am going to use it for printing only and buy another printer for scanning or buy a dedicated scanner.

There's nothing like an Epson Printer. I've owned one now for over 20 years. They're the best of the best as far as I'm concerned and I'm very happy to tell all the people about it and what type of quality I have had all these years and this would also pertain to the customer support people and the website that is filled with self help topics and services as well. Epson is my only source and will continue to be my printer of choice for the rest of my life.
