Tutorial Action Programme

Several years ago, the University of Alicante launched the Tutorial Action Programme, run by the Office of the Vice President for Digital Transformation and coordinated by the Education Science Institute. Under the programme, a contact person is designated to support and advise students on academic and personal matters, helping them integrate into the university community. Through the programme, Polytechnic School students can access information regarding:

• Academic matters: aspects relating to university life such as study programmes, choice of courses and specialisation pathways, undergraduate, Master’s and PhD degrees, etc.
• Professional careers: advice on how to enter the job market and pursue a professional career, required qualifications, professional performance, evaluating job offers, etc.
• Personal matters: including, among others, family problems, psychological health, emotional-affective issues, etc. that may directly or indirectly affect their learning process and their professional development.
• Social programmes: programmes and services provided by private or public foundations, national, European or international organisations, as well as grant schemes, mobility programmes, student exchanges, etc.
• Administrative matters: administrative requirements, enrolment, official recognition of courses and qualifications, use of data banks, library services, social services, grant programmes for students, etc.
