For the past few days we’ve been having frosty mornings, while the rest of the continent is having snow. My apartment is situated so that what starts out as frosty in the morning continues to be so well into the afternoon when across the road has well and truly defrosted. I’m sitting in the car waiting for it to heat up before heading out.

Natures notes
Just a little note left under the windscreen wiper
Blustery Weather
Last week I went to get my hair cut and the weather was fabulously gusty! My hairdresser is based near the coast so being a few minutes early I went up for a look, and took a few photos while I was at it.
It seems it really is all about the editing – it can take a mediocre shot and really make it look better – so this photo went from windswept to windswept and interesting.
Monday Weather
I was in the office last Monday and the weather was awful – well not that awful – just wet. I out for a walk at lunchtime despite that.
Back To The Mirror
I really haven’t managed the art of the selfie in a mirror so this is probably as good as it’s going to get
The Morning Commute
I only have to do what was the daily commute, once a week (for now). It’s is only within the last 2 weeks that day light has started before the bus journey.
This week the bus was almost empty, so I took the opportunity to take a photo of the sun breaking through.
Raindrops on Roses
Recently I was looking after the neighbours cat, with the added bonus of a chance to admire her roses.
This photo was taken on my iPhone and it’s a cropped photo of the full bloom – I love the amount of definition that it still retains.
Photography – a quick reminder
Don’t forget to take photos for memories and not just for Instagram.
Daisy, Daisy
I finally have Daisies in my garden – ok there’s only about 7 of them but I think this is the first year I’ve spotted them. I love them! I’ve got buttercups, white clover and dandelions and now Daisies!
There is something about this little flower that brings out a lot of nostalgia – between plucking the petals wondering – he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not and making sure you got the answer you wanted. Remember making daisy chains? It’s been decades since I made a daisy chain- when was the last time you sat on the grass and picked flowers and made that little head wreath or bracelet? I think I might have to go out to the park and take a bit of time to myself and pick flowers.
