This is one of my favorites of all the Mardi Gras parades. People dress up their dogs and parade them around. Seriously. It's unbelievably silly and cute.
Yes, there is a Royal Court. They are chosen from shelter dogs. Here's Lucy, this year's Queen-



Did you want to see the video? I just knew you did. They're going to hold court and toast the King and Queen. Yes...they really are.
