Hey everyone! I don't have a lot to say right now, as I have been working my ass off non-stop for everything from homework to personal development. (but mostly homework)

There's not a lot of new stuff coming out for everyone--I recently realized my fics are not great works of literature and are more action oriented and it bugs me. Though I am starting to work on more art, and soon, oh so soon, will I have a scanner again.

Though i'm working on my brother's wedding invitations, so of course those take precedent.

This summer though, I want to work on that Al x Heid doujin for cryogenia. After its creation, I can share with everyone. not that anyone will really want to read it, but I am arranging it to be mostly eyecandy if the plot doesn't suffice. I can always say: it'll look better than some dounjins, that's for sure.

I'm really excited for acen though! Ireally hope I can take some awesome pictures to put up and show off. I tend to flake sometimes when it gets right down to doing that, but this time I won't! magnetic_jade has even given me permission to do some photography of her awesome cosplays with her fancy camera. me happy! (i have been so deprived!)

So, soon, we may see more art and things from me! yay!

And, Strings and Arrows Andi--my current novel--is going very well again! I'm extremely excited. ^^ And you all should be too, because this means it brings it one more step closer to completion. whee.

Sadly, I think my mp3 player's batteries are finally dying. Just in time so I can not hear that new song on the radio by maroon 5! gah. it's such a cool song, even if I can never make out the lyrics. xD;

Hello, All.

I actually have a couple minutes, so I thought I'd give a little update.

The weather is on the fritz again, so it looks like a lot of my friends are getting sick. (Mostly from staying up late though, it seems. I myself stayed up until three on Saturday, working on the kurama costume.)

That costume is going okay; I've got the jacket and coat all cut out, and a lot of the jacket sewn. ^^ Alot...minus the buttons. x_X; not quite sure how I'm gonna do that one....

Oh, and the wig. I have to do the wig, all my homework, and pack, within the next couple weeks. Who is it I'm stowing my stuff with over Acen? O_o;...

these minor details...eh heh...*dies*


As far as fics, Memorial WAS going, but now it is no longer....I swear, there are the small details, the revision, and then TWO GOD-DAMNED SCENES. TWO! Just two, that are keeping a 60-page project down. x_X; (really, it's near 90 or more with all the extra and scratched stuff....) But I really want a quality product! If it's one of only four fma fics I ever finish, it damn well better be good, bah!

What else...As far as the costume, I apparently don't have enough fab for the pants, so I have to go to walmart tomorrow to get that, buttons, snaps, and things....there goes three hours of my day!

Oh yes! I'm all registered for next semester. I get to take Japanese again! Yay! I can't wait. >.<

So, while writing some of my novel, I was writing about time, fate, destiny, magic, and the what-all behind the main character's existence, and just through defining terms and the things that happen naturally in the universe there, I managed to write something that could be defined as God. AND I managed to created the paradox of free will through it. I feel Proud of myself! ^o_o^

Creating religion--Definitely a good use of the afternoon, don't you think?

on a further note, another thing she said at the pannel that was very apt was that, "So long as you are making enough money by acting that you don't have to have another job, you are a success. With how much money, then the amount of success just varies by degrees."

Also to tie up the entry, the people I was rooming with, the ISU cosplay club including Lisa and peeps, won an award in the middle category for costuming. I am so proud of them! :D And now they want me to be Rip Van Winkel in their helsing group. I say fine, even though this comes about from my ability to do a rendition of omfg Crazy Eyes. (though who says that's a baaad thing? lol) I've always watned to be part of a really big, show-stopping cosplay group. I don't need to get down the hallway at all, no not me. :D

It's another busy thursday. Gotta go to my engagements and get a lot of work done. But then it will be the weekend! If I feel alright, I'm to do some free iceskating tomorrow!

Just kidding, I have been sick the last couple weeks and am still getting over it, and I went to the chiropractor for the first time in a month and so I'm feeling a little crinkly, too. Their new building is across a highway that I have to dash across and stand in the teeny median. Way to be on the edge of town.....At least the bus goes there, so if I don't get hit by a car crossing the street, I'll otherwise be in good hands from now on! ....

Well, it's seven degrees and sunny and so it feels downright warm! Jesus help us. .__. Ouch.

Hurray! Detour finally cashed my check, as did my kung fu teacher, and the university gave me spending money! Hurray, life doesn't suck so much! :D

Hi everyone! I can finally update after my hiatus at home.

I'll miss home, but if I keep myself busy this week, it will be fine. I need to not slack, lord knows I have tons of things to do. . . . But keeping a good balance is good as well.

Good news! Even though my room is again on the north side of the building (whyyyyyy, S.A.D., whyyyy), it's only on the second floor, and in the teeny little honors floor. (which is connected to the cafeteria next door by underground tunnel). Since it has finally snowed and is now really cold, this is good. :D All my classes are close, even though a couple changed their descriptions on me after I signed up for them. like, my one tomorrow: 'history of journal writing in japan'....riiiiight.

I'm gonna see my advisor soon about changing my major from open to Japanese, and then about making sure I get my history and psych minors set up.

But the best part!!--my new room really feels good. I have some of my amazing things I've collected over the last two years, like butterfly magnets from disney, scrolls for the walls, a neat lamp, a good pillow (I have brand new sheets, too! And they're RED!! xD;;), a 40's-style makeup case, artbooks, address book, and now, even a home-made, really big drawing board. There's also brand new furniture! The smart-kid dorms got neew desks and dresser-type things this year, and they're good. the drawers slide well and they're AT THE SAME HEIGHT. So more counter space! whee. And I have a new computer table thingy that i got for christmas, that's just grand. Don't have a place for it yet, but I love it! ♥ So I have all these things and they make up me. I'm also on the naase floor again, however that happened. Maybe that makes my room assignment less random than I originally thought.

While the guys downstairs are the first-year boy tech students or something weird like that, and have super-speakers and play DOOM III all day most likely, I think I may be able to overcome that for how awesome my roommate is now. Tiffany is a girl like the rest of us(terrible I say that but you know what I mean)--very normal, not preppy, oh I was worried seeing all the plucked-eyebrowed, stupid blond girls coming out of the dorm today--and she's a gamer!! Doesn't knwo about anime, but she has a huge tv, a super-nintendo, and a PS2 (partially to play the dvds)! Man, how much better could it get? How about, the fact that she likes racers and shooter games, AND she goes home on the weekends. (adult swim, yay) Man, I don't think it could get any better than this. Two girls I know from HS are also on my floor. One is two doors down and the other's directly across the hall!! Strangely, however, they have both gained a fair amount of weight since I last saw them. 9_9

anywho, moving on... (have I said thanks for reading, yet?)

So, gotta get books this week, and finish projects. Gotta do the paper for CMU, so that I can get credit for the whole Disney thing. However, coming away from that, I feel ... the proverbial more "grown up", and really independent! I had a real full-time job, and, even though being an indentured servant (no joke) is stressfull, and there was the cosntant fear of getting fired over my head, while living in company housing that always reminded me of dollhouses, I made it! I really can survive in the real world. Even though some things could have been much better, and I never got in touch with the writers, I really am glad I went. I did something on my own and made it. And my soul is still safe. <3
