seriously, an update?!
Hello all. I know it's been forever.
For one, i thought I lost my account password and had to reset it, but actually, I don't! wow.
Secondly, life has been horribly busy, when I'm not procrastinating (recovering, badly).
I've been sick for about six weeks now and it's really getting on me. Grad school apps are due soon, and it's driving me even more sick, and I have two very long term papers I need to not put off for my grade in two of my four classes.
Wish me luck on everything. I don't know if anyone still gets updates from me.... But at least you know I'm here now.
They've changed some things since I've last been here. For example, I have a user pic now, by my name, and it's...not one I have ever seen before, of a lady with red lips. Not so bad, really, but...not mine??
I'm working on some D. Gray Man fanfics. I don't know that they're any good, but the fandom has a dirth of fics in general, especially ones with Cross and Allen in any form. Currently I'm writing one that will have Cross being both a bit fatherly, a bit of a grieving headcase, and by the end, his usual bastard self. I fancy the idea that he treats allen in an apprentice manner "akin to the british tradition of the times." 8D;; That whole story is just an exercise in making as reallistic a horror story as I can. It's quite fun, really. There's quite a bit of maria being creepy. x333
I really, really want to make at least one scene where she is absolutely as creepy as possible, as an animated corpse, after all. Mmm, I'm reminiscing of the ring at the moment. something like that, the grey-blue cold creepiness of dead flesh...mmmm, I have just the scene to bring this out, though I don't know how to set it up. I'm sure I can think of something.
In other news, chiropractor tomorrow. I'm working again, but I hope I won't get scheduled too much, because now it's dark when I go home at night, and I'm still not better! >:[ However, I did go home from work last night feeling better than when I came in. You can't complain about that. (It was actually a pretty easy night--no fed ex-ing, and for almost 2 whole hours, no customers. I cleaned and recycled things.)
