Re-Jected!
Well, I got a rejection letter from U Michigan today about grad school. Strange, because I don't think I've checked the mail two days in a row since I moved here.
This was the number two school and I was really hoping I'd get in there, after my desire for Iowa.
I also got an email today saying that one of my recommedors didn't send a letter to one of the other schools (or maybe it got lost somewhere along the way?). JOY.
BUT WE MAY STILL BE OKAY, because Michigan is universally known for being extremely biased against white people, and anyone that has family members with college degrees. I hope I can blame the rejection on this. *crosses fingers*
Or, maybe, that little hope that they thought I was just too good for them to be of any use to me. I could hope of that, too. Might as well. I'm running REALLY low on self esteem recently.
