On June 13th, the closing event of the seminar series will be held by the National School of Architecture of Marrakech, coordinated by Prof. Daniela Ladiana. This series has featured the participation of esteemed speakers and scientific committee members from various universities and institutions, focusing on ‘Programmed Conservation and Cultural Accessibility: Technologies and models for historical and architectural heritage.’
The event aims to present the research and design works developed by graduating students and other students during the academic year 2024-2025, particularly those created within the theme ‘Towards the Digital Twin of Marrakech’s Fortifications.’
The seminar, jointly promoted by ENAM (École Nationale d’Architecture Marrakech) and DdA (Dipartimento di Architettura Pescara), will illustrate the application of advanced technologies for the knowledge, management, and valorization of heritage. It will focus on the digital evolution of Marrakech’s fortifications as a bridge between past and future. The works will be discussed by Mariana Minascurta, PhD Minascurta from Wisetown, a company specialized in Digital Twin development.
