Installation
Step 1: Upload the Plugin
- Download the plugin ZIP
- Upload to
/wp-content/plugins/leet-affiliate-for-freemius/ - Activate via Plugins Installed Plugins
Step 2: Install Freemius SDK
The plugin requires the Freemius PHP SDK.
Install dependencies via Composer:
composer install
Step 3: Get Your Freemius Credentials
- Log in to Freemius Dashboard
- Go to My Profile API Keys
- Copy your:
- Developer ID
- Public Key (
pk_…) - Secret Key (
sk_…)
Step 4: Find Product & Terms Info
- Go to Products in Freemius Dashboard
- Select your plugin/product
- Copy the Product ID
- Under Affiliation Terms, copy the Affiliate Program Terms ID
Step 5: Configure Plugin Settings
- In WordPress, go to Settings Leet Affiliate for Freemius
- Add your credentials
- Paste your Terms & Conditions URL
- Click Save Settings
Step 6: Add the Form to Your Site
- Create a new page (e.g., “Become an Affiliate”)
- Add the shortcode:
[leet_freemius_affiliate_form] - Publish – your form is live! 🎉
