Sara Jameel is a researcher and educator focused on machine vision, educational outreach, inclusive technology design, and responsible AI. Her work explores the intersection of gender equity, participatory design, and algorithmic accountability, with a focus on building systems that are transparent, inclusive, and socially responsible.

Sara has contributed to Girlset, a STEM outreach initiative introducing teen girls to engineering, game development, and AI ethics. She previously co-founded a Mandarin language learning startup focused on culturally responsive instruction and accessible digital tools. Her ongoing projects combine qualitative research, AI fairness audits, and public education to promote equitable and human-centered approaches to technological development.

She is particularly interested in feminist HCI, co-design for empowerment, and how immersive technologies can be used to support inclusive futures in tech education and AI governance.
