A.) Check the fucking weather before you go and decide that it's an awesome idea to do a sunrise shoot at the beach. You really don't want to ruin your camera/waste your time/gas and get only crap shots/kill your car.
B.) Killing yourself/your car/your camera is unseemly and is not fair to the camera. It's just a botched shoot. It's not that big of a deal.
C.) Get a camera case. You almost faceplanted straight into the sand, and your fat ass would've broken the camera. Think ahead next time, eh?
D.) Put gas in the car. You need it.
E.) Admit that your dad is right, and just fucking go to school for photojournalism. It'll be worth it but only if you can spell worth and you'll get to do two (hopefully two) things you love: writing, and photography. who cares if you're good at them or not. that's what college is for, right?
Moral of all this: THINKING AHEAD IS GOOD, BUT NOT SOMETHING I'M GOOD AT.
