Our History
We are Southern Saskatchewan’s leading experts for urban/rural water, sewer and excavation needs. Founded by Jeff Hine in October 2009 and shortly thereafter ET is one of Southern Saskatchewan’s most trusted and respected companies. After 16 years in the industry Jeff decided to put his knowledge, experience, innovation, forward thinking and energy into ET. To date we have assembled a team of true professionals with over 35 years combined experience.
Our mission is to provide our clients with timely and professional service of the utmost quality. We supply our clients with the best products available to ensure reliability and efficiency. The team has the highest standards and work ethic and treats your project as if it’s their own home project.
ET has become the exclusive contractor for a number of towns, water groups and rural communities. In addition, we are proud to provide sole services for a number of local homebuilders and developers.
We pride ourselves on safe work practices and procedures. We are always up to date on safety training as well as maintain compliance with Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. We also practice guidelines outlined by the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association.

Jeff Hine
owner/operator
Jeff has been in the business for more than 20 years.
His equipment operations includes excavator, backhoe, skid steer, gravel truck, shovel master.
His certifications include ground disturbance, safe trenching certificate, confined space entry, WGNUS, SCSA Safety training, Gould’s pump school graduate, class 1A driver’s license.
After a long days work Jeff also enjoys playing hockey, slo-pitch, fitness, travel, music, landscaping, shovel lacrosse.
Devin Schachtel
operator/driver/shovel puppet
Devin has been in the business for more than 7 years.
His equipment operations includes backhoe, skid steer, and gravel truck.
His certifications include WHMIS, ground disturbance, class 1A driver’s license, SCSA.
After a long days work Devin also enjoys playing baseball, music, symphony, motorcycles, video games
