So I was playing with my Grandma's cat, generally making a fuss of him because he doesn't get a lot of it (maybe because he's huge and fat?). Can't have been more than two minutes after we left, my Mum turned to me and went "that thing had fleas." She saw them and let me carry on stroking it.
Ok, so my cat somehow found my last creme egg, bounced it around a bit, clawed it, and rolled it somewhere it took me half an hour to find when I wanted to eat it. And pulled all my bags out to top it off.
Of course, now my room is back in its formally messed up state.
1) wtf England? Seriously? You beat FRANCE for Godsakes, and you LOSE to Scotland? Like THAT? 'scuse the over use of caps, but honestly, if serious questions aren't asked about that performance, and some positions made clear they aren't permanent to the player in it... well... considering the rather roller-coaster like performance of the team so far...
Bascially, something is, to paraphrase Shakespeare, rotten at the heart of Twickenham, and seriously need sorting. Sorry to most who don't give a cr*p about rugby, but when something like this happens, even though it's insignificant in the scheme of things, well, it make me feel a little sad. :(
2) Mum found my stash of dvds, and wanted to know why I didn't tell her about them. Hmm, was it because she would moan at me for buying them in the first place?
3) Something I can see going the same way as my love for Norrington; since I found the Septimus comm on lj and started reading Stardust fanfic, my love for Septimus is growing... rather like how it did for Norrington...
4) Poppy has just bitten the hell out of my left arm. Grr...
5) Just made my way onto Neil Gaiman's books. Now, I've read 1602, the novella Monarch of the Glen and several issues of The Books of Magic (one of my fav's being The Burning Girl), and having seen and loved Stardust, well, I think I'm on my way through his works lol. Does the Lucifer series count, 'cause I've read a few of those as well, and they share the Death character. Hmm, a lot of his work seems to be interconnected and yet not, it gets a little confusing.
6) Still depressed over the England loss... I mean, come on! They beat France like that, the lose to one of the worst teams in the tornament? Ugh. Sorry Scotland.
So, I watched 28 episodes according to my meme in February. I bet that goes down this month, since I was watching the repeats of SG1 and so saw a good part of season 9 for the first time, but for some odd reason, instead of continuing on like they did after repeating season 8, they've gone back to season 1.:-S
Right, when I've finished doing these essays I'll get around to watching season 3 Atlantis, instead of buying it and watching five eps or so and stopping. And maybe season 2 SPN.
...also, the pharmacist says Mum is allergic to the cat.:(
It has been SO cold today. There was a thick fog about when I woke up, bad enough that you couldn't really see past the end of our garden, and trust me, that's not far away. Frost thick enough it looked like it had been snowing and as a result took me a good five, ten mins to get off my car so I could see with some degree of sensibility. It barely cleared up all day, and now it's dark and come in thick again.
/Brit moan about the weather.
Also, the cat has been in a foul mood all day. Shame you can't explain to them that in the end, it's in everyone's best interests.
Well, that's it. The kitty has gone to the vets for... well, I'm sure it's not hard to guess.
Just when you think you're ok with them going in for surgery, the vet has to stand there and go on about anaesthetics, blood vessels and how major the whole thing is even if it is routine...
That's a lot less murder attempts than I would have thought. I suppose it would have been boring to list them all out. I did think Septimus participated more before Secundus, though.
Atlantis is awesome. :) Reminds me very much of the old Hercules and Xena series, in fact it comes across as that much more so than anything to do with Merlin. It is a mistake to compare the two, I…
