mortarium
出典:『Wiktionary』 (2025/11/28 21:09 UTC 版)
語源
Uncertain. De Vaan suggests that the term could derive from Proto-Italic *morto-, from Proto-Indo-European *mr̥tó-, itself from a possible root *mer- (“to die”), whence also Latin morior. The root *merh₂-, whence also perhaps Proto-Celtic *marnati, may be an extension of the root *mer-.
